I have tried to love Apple, wonderful products, just overpriced to be honest as an IT professional however, i would say overall, apple computers back then were much nicer built than PCs but the lack of software and freedom makes made me prefer Android and PC Stuff

​​@@Mousta_alpha94 LumaFusion, Infinite Painter, and other apps are available on the Tab S9, but only drawing apps matter because it's much better to edit videos on a laptop. An iPad is just a $2000 USD complement with the M4 chip.

Basically people buy iPad thinking they will watch a lot of TV, but because it doesn't fit the aspect ratio it kind of sucks and then people stop using it that way.

​@@masdi727 this is true, even though I got my iPad Air for educational purposes, its aspect ratio is not suitable as you can't watch shows full screen. I never tried Netflix and prime on the iPad as I use my laptop or phone for that but for KZread, crunchroll and jio cinema iPad is not suitable.

One more thing worth mentioning (and sorry if you did but i missed it) is Ram consumption. In clip studio paint, once you are several layers deep, you can easily fill all the memory. Now, only the 1TB ipad pro comes with 16Gb of RAM! The 256gb and 512gb models have 8Gb of RAM!!! This is 100% worth considering if you are spending this much money on these tablets and intend on doing proper design work!

There is one different thing between the two. Phone call is avaiable on Tab S9 Ultra but not on iPad. Correct?

First off, thank you for your info about the sale Samsung has going on. I was able to trade in my Galaxy S8+ for $700. So, i got a new Ultra plus the earbuds 2 pro for $333. I love the new ultra and this is coming from an Apple Fan. I ended up cancelling my order for the new iPad Pro that was going to cost me approximately $2600!!

As an artist, coming from an iPad Pro user to a Tab S9 Ultra, the drawing experience is amazing. The screen is gorgeous and you have so much space to fit all of the tool palettes and still have a big space for your canvas. Also have so many pen options! Im glad i made the switch.

Last black friday I got the Tab S8 Ultra OLED (new) for $650. A few weeks ago BB was selling them for $700. We will never see a new OLED 13" IPad Pro (new older model in a few years) anywhere near that price.

Have you tried any of the accessibility features on the Samsung S tab ultra like voiceover or any kind of screen enlargement features? This is where Apple excels is there accessibility for people who are blind in visually impaired. I am definitely upgrading my iPad because I had the same iPad since 2019 and it is time to upgrade. Now that the iPad Air has one terabyte of storage it has enough space for my iTunes collection.

Seems waaaay too early to already drop another $2k. Get some cloud storage for your .mp3s , really gonna sownd $2k for more music space. The androids have micro sd, that excuse is moot with those. Get an older tablet just for music, or even an old school sd card mp3 player. But if you make to s of $, ignore more. I like to make excuses to buy gadgets. I got a ps5 and barely played it since i got it.

If the s9 ultra had the m4 chip it would be a game changer

I've had the Ipad pro 13 inch (2019) for a while now and been using it (90%) for media consumption. I think I will either get the S9 Ultra or wait for the S10 Ultra and keep it for the next 5 years. Hate that thick black bar. 😩 That's why I sometimes prefer to watch on my Samsung note 10+ coz of very small black bars if any.

Great video sal but you completely forgot to mention multitasking and how big and useful of a feature samaung dex is esp on the tablet. Apple needs something like this. Plus apple needs a much much better file management system.

What makes me a galaxy tab owner vs Apple is not just the shape and display but Android allows you to keep organized folders on the home screen with all your notes… IOS doesn’t have that

I always have flagship Samsung phones, but not for tablets. It’s about the app ecosystem and tablet optimisation.

The thing I can not handle with the Samsung is that they somehow managed to make what is supposed to be inky black look very grey if you have any light in your room. It is seen at 5:26 on the borders at the top and bottom of the video. Especially in the bottom left corner. I see it very clearly everywhere else on the screen too but it looks much better in a completely dark room. The ipad with mini led I used to own looked like it had better blacks in many areas compared to the S7+ with amoled display I upgraded from simply because the panel did look black instead of grey. That 16:10 aspect ratio Samsung went for is really superior though and I really want more manufacturers to move over to that aspect ratio aswell.

@7:05 This is one of biggest issues I noticed with my Samsung Tab OLED along with bluish whites. You can clearly see throughout video how iPad Pro whites actually look white like LCD screen most likely due to Tandem OLED display tech. Also, should've tested a minimum brightness since Samsung has color issues at low brightness which iPad shouldn't with new tech not to mention Apple devices known to follow 2.2 gamma curve very well so no crushed blacks like Samsung tablet. Only advantage Samsung tablet display has IMO is aspect ratio. Glad they kept the SD slot on the Samsung tablet and still include pen only wins for Samsung against new M4 iPad. Finally, @16:32 don't know if it's just YT app on Samsung but hate how it adds gray border instead of black like on iPad to make it blend into background.

Totally off the subject, but on my s23 ultra, unlocked Verizon, just picked up latest security update. For some odd reason, after restart, couldn't use any buttons, etc. Rebooting got me back on track.

Really strange. Downloaded update, installed update, went through reboot, couple of icons showed up with secure folder. Put in pass code, operation worked. Tried to open mail app, nada. Tried several other apps, no action. Tried to swipe to other home screens, no reaction. I have edge panels installed, swiped to get into power button array, success. Reboot, all ok.

I'm so curious to know what comparisons would be like if developers brought more professional and optimized tablet apps to Android. Really, that's the only +1 the iPad has.

You can get OLED laptops for the priceof any of this...

I'm 100% for the iPad but I wish they offered a bigger screen like Samsung. It's so much better for watching movies and from what I'm using it for which is for drawing. I want the biggest screen possible. 15 to 16 in would be perfect. As soon as Apple announces a bigger one, I definitely will trade in my iPad to get that version

The tab s9 was indeed significantly louder but ipad had a more "calming" tone but i think its due to it being less louder and more in the quiet side.

Excellent comparison does Apple have A.I. in pro model ? I brought my kid a 10th gen excellent ipad.

The only weakness of this M4 ipad is the os i would like the macos for this ipad instead of ipados that very limited os

One of the best features for S9ultra is that you can expand storage by inserting micro sd. My S9ultra is 256gb plus micro sd card 1tb is amazing

Software options on the Ipad Pro or any Apple unit is limited.

I have both .. Samsung does glitch sometimes. Not had a problem with Apple.

The S9 Ultra is a real laptop-replacement. Pairing Dex, Keyboard with trackpad and the 16:10 aspect ratio, I managed to replace my Asus Zenbook 14 and I am much more satisfied with everything, especially battery life.

I have been using ipad pro previous version just to play Chess on Shredder software. I am a National chess player. I also need Stockfish engine to analyse my played game. I have the galaxy tab Ultra and the ipad pro 11 inch 2021 and I like the ultra more.

If you're an artist and there's an app that only exists for the iPad, buy an iPad. If you want a tablet to draw and work on (productivity), buy a Galaxy Tab S. It's as simple as that.

Nah, iPads just last longer and feel more polished especially when it comes to apps and stuff, i did buy a tab s8 ultra but eventually returned it even though it had a better screen and imo better features. It just didn’t feel polished enough and it would heat up even on the home screen. I’m sure the tab s9 ultra is better but for me when it comes to tablets iPads are better.

I'm an android user but the reason why I like the ipad is because of the apps. We don't have apps like final cut, logic pro, pro create /dreams, dronedeploy and many others on the android side. (I'm talking about the apps not the O.S.)

I have the s 8 ulta but am deciding if I should switch. I just bought the S Pen Creators edition because as a "real artist" 😂 I can't stand the little nib of the S Pen. The iPad is nice but so expensive. I like the nano finish on the iPad(not show here).

Because it's a 4:3 Aspect ratio and movies are 16:9.

If apple have that sumsungs aspect rio, the Samsung tab would be like toy

I don't understand the notch. Why? I have no interest in upgrading my S7+ because of this one thing. As of now, that means more to me than the lack of Android 14 and one UI 6. I may just go back to laptop and not have a tablet. There should be plenty of bezel. A tablet needs enough bezel just to be able to hold it.

I would choose Galaxy s9 tab... I used ipad pro gen 2 11inch. For school wise, I would definitely say ipad is way better but if you working in window world, then galaxy s9 tab... is sooo worth.

TabS9 is brighter. Tab S9 Line tops at 1.750 Nits HDR (its written on the specification page), SDR is 960 something. Thats why it is seemingly equaly bright for the video you show. Note also that the contrast is 2.000.000:1 for ipad and 3.000.000:1 for Tab S9.
