Propex Furnace Acoustic silencer kit for RV Furnaces

This is a sound comparison of the Acoustic kit for PROPEX HS2000 before and after instal. The install will be different for each application but I think the outcome will be just as good if not better in most circumstances. I did buy an extra piece of the acoustic duct for the return run as the one that comes in the kit only was long enough for the supply. Great upgrade for Propex type furnaces but may not work in all situation read about it in the links below. Hope this helps.

Get a Camper so you can keep warm while jeep is broke down?
How did u get the supply silencer on to the stainless pipe as van cafe says you need to buy the paper pipe to fit the intake muffler but it looks like you had no issues. I just received the kit and yeah the black muffler won't fit onto the pipe. Let me know what you did there

Hi Paul, all I had to Do is unthread the little screen at the end of the old exhaust and screw on the silencer. I think it’s a one inch pipe. Hope that helps. I can send a picture of it once I get back home. Cheers

@@NightWolfPack yeah a pic would be nice. My heater pipes have no screen on the ends, they are open. I tried to screw on the black vent to the stainless pipe and it too small

Big difference. Definitely great noise mitigation using that kit.
