It's the very first time I hear someone who speak exactly as in any listening part of my English classes!!
Here's an example of explaining a process without being boring. He is precise and to the point and a pretty good dancer to boot.
For a viewer using davinci resolve, I would do ANYTHING to make you keep on going with these types of videos. I think this is the niche that is PERFECT for you as a channel creator and in the long run, it will help you alot :) Pls pls dont stop with these!!!!

I'll surely do my best! Keep throwing ideas at me as, after a few hundred videos, that's the hardest bit 😆

@@MrAlexTech Absolutely!!! Burnout can be a thing but if Davinci keeps updating, you'll have more and more to make videos about! If your afraid you'll run out of ideas, take it a bit at a time and maybe find out cool ways of 'modding' resolve if it comes to that to help or even entertain people even more. I'll be watching all your videos, you'll do great :)
As always: to the point, step by step, slooooww enough for us beginners, light to digest and useful. And with a funny note! Love your work Alex.
As a person who is constantly watching a LOT of guides for various things. Your stuff is by far at the tippy top in terms of overall quality. No pointless nonsense, actually energetic feel with a tongue-in-cheek style and extremely easy to follow. Just keep doing what you're doing, you're extremely good at it.
EXCELLENT! Short, effective, easy to follow, clear instructions, useful tips and more. Why can't everyone else teach like this. Subscribed. Thank you and keep em coming.
Alex, thanks. This opened a lot of capabilities for me. Love your teaching style and on camera presence.
MrAlexTech, you have made the long avoided transition to Resolve a joy. Following along in DR while your video is playing has made all the difference. I cannot thank you enough.
I've been editing with DR for about two years now... these tutorials always blow my mind because I realize how complicated my workflow has been until now. Thank you for that great content!
A brilliant tutorial Alex, I am getting into DR17 and really enjoying watching your channel which is so informative, thank you! - your videos are just brilliant i'm learning so much again much appreciated, please keep up these great videos!! big fan/supporter of your work! thank you.
Thanks Alex. Great tutorial and friendly style with perfect pace. Look forward to more.
Nice one man, I'm always coming here for these excellent, no nonsense and totally usable tips. Top stuff - thanks!
I LOVE YOU. I ABSOLUTELY DO !!!!! This one came out right at the moment i was thinking of making a video with my favourite photos!!!!! THANKS MASSIVELY !!! You have really helped me understand many thing so far, and you keep on teaching me with every single video you upload !!!
Alex, your guides have helped me so much. Really thankful for your work
Thank you for being the first person to actually teach me something that I was able to replicate on my own as an extremely ignorant beginner video editor. While I had some frustrations at the start due to not resizing down my photos, after some time, I caved and did it, which then made it so that I could follow your tutorial and get the desired outcome. Again, thanks.
Awesome man!!! I love the way you express yourself + the way you teach. Grreat work. Thank you for your effort!!
Your videos are always great, but man... This one stood out! I finished watching with a wide smile. =D Thanks for the amazing resource!
I came for tutorials on specific things but I stayed to get inspired to improve the quality of my videos and make them interesting. Thank you infinitely Alex!
I needed to make a slide show. Found this video. Amazingly helpful and informative. I always feel helpless up against the Davinci interface because who knows where things are. Your video made the slide show easy to get right. Thanks!
Truly a god-tier tutorial. This format is so versatile, so slick, and easy to put together! It also does a great job of showing Resolve's capabilities. Resolve is not very user-friendly, so it really helps to follow along with someone who can navigate it well and teach you how to appreciate it.
Again, brilliant work - and timely - end of year awards coming up; need to put a few hundred photos together in a nice slideshow. And now I know how!
I was just about to try making my first slide show. Perfect timing. Thank you.
Excellent, not just the slideshow tutorial, but you cover other things like applying transitions to multiple cut points, saving custom transitions and a lot more. Keep up the good work!

Whoa! This blew my mind.... amazing one Alex!
Awesome! Enjoyed the funky dance at the end too 😀
Thank You For this tutorial! I was looking for something that would take my adoption photo reels to the next level. I was using a basic style and it wasn't what I liked! This really sets these apart from the first set of reels!
This video saved me so much time, thank you!!! You've got some of the best Resolve content out there, my man.
Congratulations on the 100K Alex! Much deserved!🙏
Mate as usual a killer video, i don't know how many of your videos have helped me over the last couple of years, legend.
I've watched about 5 of your videos - Man these are great! Thanks for doing these

Thanks. Was told by my wife to make a slideshow of pics very quick and I just followed this tutorial and was finished in just less than 30 minutes. So very helpful..
Thanks for this Alex. I've been asked to put together a wedding video from photos with 2 hours notice. This was a life saver!
Fantastic. Always looking for slideshows in Resolve. Thanks, love your channel.
Loving the funny personality with the great content. Thanks man, appreciate it! 😄
Absolutely fantastic, exactly what I needed to know, thank you!
Brilliant tips, brilliantly presented. Thank you for sharing!!
You can't have enough LIKES for this. That way to add Dynamic Zoom to several clips at once is MAGIC!!!!!!
I’m enjoying how you are loosing up a bit! I want to grow up (in the production life) to be like you 😍 Excellent content and delivery! Bravo!
This is a clear and very useful tutorial, especially for someone, who just divorcing with Pr. Thanks a lot!
So handy, and so easy to do - after watching your video of course 🤦♂️🤣. Great tutorial - cheers as always Alex 🙏🤘
Bro! You saved my live! - Thanks a lot for this great Tutorial! Precise, Funny, Nice - Keep up the good work!
Note for those lacking middle click: In 18, there's an "Apply Composition" in the context menu (right click) now. Same thing, but more visible.
@MrAlexTech

Heyyy glad they've added that! Thanks for the heads up
@TravisNichols
Жыл бұрын
I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I have a middle click but it apparently is not recognized by my Resolve 18. Under "Nodes" I can right click the "ColoredBorder" effect and then I can paste that one by one on the subsequent images in the clips. If I multi-select, only the first image in the selected sequence gets the effect. "Apply Composition" does nothing for me. Can you elaborate on how to get the white border, en masse, without the middle click? This is driving me crazy!
@supes12
Жыл бұрын
@@TravisNichols Stay in the fusion panel and select all the clips to the right of the one that has the border. Right-click the one with the border and click 'apply composition'. Done

wonderful tutorial, spot on mate 👌 👏 👍 🙌 fantastic thank you so much for helping me become a better editor my friend Cheers !
I just know that years down the line, even when Resolve is at Version 20 or whatever, this vid will still be my go-to grail for a refresher tutorial. Timeless:)

I learned a lot from watching. It was easy to follow for us beginners. Thank you!
Once again an amazing in depth video. Cheers!
Thank you for this. I tried several online photo reel makers, all with a random critical annoyances/hurdles. Didn't think it would be fairly easy in DR, nice one.
wow.. this is incredible.. now to practice this for my 30 minute slideshow I'm about to do...THANKS!!!
These tips were awesome. My family was overjoyed with the results.
i’ve learned alot from watching your vids! i was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to add a “box blur” to a video 🤔 please and thank you! keep up the good work Alex! 🍻
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much
What a perfect dance act at the end!!!!
Great video! I wasn’t prepared for the end video 😄
How awesome is this!!! Thank you!!! 🙏🏻
Superb lesson Alex. Many thanks.
You make great tutorials mate, thank you!
Dude you rock. Way to do video howtos perfectly! Just a little problem. When doing the Fusion colored border I get the border with a ton of transparent padding rather than like in your video how the image border is tight against the image. Maybe a bug.
Well done Alex! My mother's 80th birthday is coming up and this is exactly what I needed. Keep up the good work. How about you do a bit more advanced stuff in Fusion in your upcoming videos? Or audio?
Wow - Great Look and so easy to create with your tutorial
Another great tutorial. Superb 💯👌

"I think there's a bit of a bug in here" - Love it. I've got your video on one screen, DaVinci on the other and I built a cool slide show.
Great video. Thank you very much. Question: How would this change if I wanted to add in some video clips along with a few of photos in the slideshow? Do you have another video that show this as well?
