Push is my go to! One quick tip: instead of copying, clicking the other clip to highlight it green, and then pasting--you can instead just hold 'alt' and drag the transition to the clip you want, and it will duplicate it. It's super fast. You can also use that method to duplicate most anything on the timeline, and if you want to just select one thing in a linked clip (like just the audio or video) without unlinking them, 'alt' and clicking on what you want will allow you to select just that one clip without anything else associated with it. Edit: I learned another quick way to add to multiple: if you select all of the clips you want to apply the transition to, and then click on the edge as if you were going to change the length of all clips, it will highlight ALL of them green along the edge, and then when you paste, it will apply to all of them. This is actually incredibly helpful for me! The green highlight thing to allow paste is new to me though, and will definitely come in handy when I am adding to a bunch of tracks. Thank you!

Very useful, thank you, thank you man for your generosity and time in creating videos like this. I been trying to figure out how to make more use out of the Davinci FX and this video goes a long way to helping me with that goal. I am still on a mission to learn how to get even more creative with fx like glitching, waviness etc. I have tried some of these before but its tough to not end up with something cheesy. Another question I have is this... on my music DAW I have options to create LFO generator effects (sine, square, random etc) that can be mapped to parameters in separate effects to create interesting movements in these other effects... is there a way to do the same in Davinci?

Seriously! Thank you! I need to make it a mission of mine to watch a minimum 3 of your videos per day to master resolve! You just helped me in several ways. Every tip was something I needed and googled but could not find the answer for. Like the background with text! The way you described and showed it to be so seamless! Thanks man!

@@dunnadidit Do you have any tips on recording VO in davinci resolve? I followed a couple tutorials and each of them caused my video to export with left channel only audio. I am using a Blue Yeti Mic

@HeyThisIsAndrew sounds like the track that you’re recording to is a stereo track. 2 fixes, either patch your input channel to BOTH the left and right channel of that track, or make a mono track to do your VO on.

5:26 you could also use the dynamic zoom function it adjust's given on the clip's time. just a small trick :) (theres also a dynamic zoom editor which allows you to adjust the direction of the zoom the total size and more)

Davinci rocks! I'm still an Adobe fanboy, but Resolve's color grading is next level (I own the Studio version).
