I have this same fridge and LOVE IT. We just closed on our new build and I dreamed of this Friday day 2 after going under contract in Jan of 2022. We got the fridge 27.6 cu ft, microwave, and the stove... all appliances are in matte white with the gold handles

This review doesn’t do this fridge justice. Would have helped to have it plugged in and actual model discussed for viewers. We have had the fridge talked about in white for three months with second drawer. Phenomenal fridge! Don’t listen to negative. Our entire kitchen even wall ovens are cafe now. Best choice ever

My brand new café refrigerator doesn’t open far enough to get the drawers out to clean it. I’m gonna have to modify it.

Do not buy the GE Cafe refrigerator. It looks beautiful but it will only cool from 41-51 degrees at best. It is the worse refrigerator I have ever owned. GE will do anything to NOT replace it. I am 65 and have owned many refrigerator's over the years GE Cafe is the worst! Buyer beware.

How are the cafe ranges?

I switched from a 5-year-old glass top with the oven to a cafe' gas stove with twin ovens with wifi and an air fryer. It didn't have the air fryer when I bought it, but get when I set up the wifi the stove automatically updated to the latest software which made the top oven an air fryer. The controls are digital so the control is there on the touch panel. Too cool. I had to wait 5 months but was worth it. I also ran the gas line. It's easier than I thought. We just bought the CVE28DP2NS1. Hope to get it next week. Next is the dishwasher.

Wanted to purchase a Cafe fridge but the entrance to my home is too small. The standard size for a fridge is 30 inches wide, my door will only accommodate a fridge 29 inches or less. Do they ever custom build or make them smaller for those of us who would like to experience luxury but unfortunately, size is an issue?

We purchased the GE Cafe counterdepth french door refrigerator and took delivery in April 2021. VERY LOUD CONSTANT HUMMING!!!!..read all the reviews!! I can hear it upstairs in our bedroom with the door closed. Very disappointed! Don't buy this one!

Our SS counter depth is super quiet. That could be some installation glitch.

Have a cafe fridge . It’s bloody noisy. Have a cheap LG in my rental unit and it’s so much quieter

I replaced all my kitchen appliance 14 years ago with all GE profile. Only recently had to replace the refrigerator's control board about 3 years ago. Now upgrading the fridge to this cafe model. Just got it delivered and we love it!

Not sure why you think that. We’ve had a lower-end GE fridge for 19 years now, and only had to get it repaired once. Only considering upgrading it because the old GE is looking long in the tooth and the water dispenser finally stopped working. In fact all of our GE appliances are as good as the day we bought them.

@@shanksworthy Sounds like you're branded to GE and never actually used other brands. Haier owns GE, so they might be pretty good now.

@@kingchakazulu7762 Honestly when all of our friends/families' new LG's and Samsungs and Whirlpools started malfunctioning within the first few years of purchase, we were worried our new GE would as well. But each of them has had to replace their fridges 3x in the span of time that we've had our GE. We've had small things break, but they were all normal wear-and-tear things that were cheap & easy repairs. If Haier makes GE even better, then that's great, because GE was already quite reliable.
