What a beautiful refrigerator. I'm with you, I need the depth and space. No little fridges here!

We built our home a year ago and I wanted top of the line appliances and this one is the best refrigerator that I have ever had. I love the back LED lighting that illuminated everything in it. The beverage drawer keeps everything real cold and the freezer has enough compartments that you don't have to dig for things. So much space and I absolutely love it.

Nice but it isn't top of the line. Ge monogram is top of the line. This is mid level

I have this model in the platinum. I love the automatic water fill, also it counts how many ounces of water it pours, great plus for measuring for recipes. I like the middle drawer, it serves as snack central here with drinks, cheese and yogurts. Love it!

I have the larger stainless steel model. We bought ours at Lowes and we received a package deal because we bought double ovens, a stove top, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The only thing I don’t like is our ice runs out.

Is the ice maker issue specifically to this one or does it affect the counter depth with out the external ice and water dispenser?

We bought ours this year and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! There is NOTHING I don't like about it. We had to wait several months to get it because we wanted the white one but it was worth the wait. The back lighting on top, the moveable dividers in the deli drawer, the extra freezer drawer all all wonderful.

What color are your handles? I just received my fridge and mine look rose gold. But I ordered the brushed bronze which I thought would be more of a gold color. I’m not sure if they sent the right ones so I called GE and they will be sending me new ones.

How do you clean the exterior?

How much did charge you for the warranty at American freight.

Looking at this video for the wife want to surprise her with a new one. This calls her style. To answer your question yes our ice maker is working but the ice dispenser system isn’t 🤦🏻‍♂️

I am actually a sale's person at zilges appliance center in Mason City Iowa and we carry the full line of Cafe!! they have sooooooo much! refrigerator's, ranges, cooktops, over the range micro vents, kitchen hubs, dishwasher's, they even have refrigerator's with a built in Kurig!!! it is truly amazing what has come out of the appliance world this last few year's!! and I must say that the Cafe is one of thew best!!

My house came with a side by side fridge with water and ice dispenser. The waterline needs to be replaced, I have not replaced it because I will never use it. I prefer a fridge without water and ice.

Thinking of purchasing, but I can’t see anywhere in any of the writing. Does it have a door alarm so if the door gets left, open it dings or pings

Hello! Yes, this refrigerator does have a door chime that sounds if the door is left open

39 inches wide, are you sure? Website says 35.625 inches wide on all these Cafe models Black CVE28DP3ND1, White CVE28DP4NW2, and Stainless CVE28DP2NS1. Just bought one to be delivered Friday and I hope it fits!

Am I crazy, or for the full retail price could the metal trim look a little...more convincing? It's not terrible but it reminds me of cheaper metal look light fixtures with a spray paint finish. Compare it to the shine of the real chrome on the handles of the interior doors. GE could have used chrome on the outside, too. Really smart of you to choose a floor model!

Hello, I still love this refrigerator. The ice maker has been working since we had it replaced months ago. I haven't had any issues with it besides the ice maker

What happens when the ice maker doesn’t work? What’s the cost on fixing?

The unit is still under warranty so the cost of repairs were covered. We paid nothing out of pocket for repair. Thanks for watching!

the unit comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty so it will be covered and most places offer extended warranties for 3 and 5 years!

the people I work for actually sell the Cafe line in the store and I have not noticed any noise what so ever!! the cafe fridge is actually quieter than my fridge at home!!

My have temp issues if you set temp at 37 reads 42

Hi! This refrigerator was a floor model from another store, then bought by American Freight and purchased by me.

Beautiful, but I wouldn't purchase with ice maker and water dispenser because it's taking away to much room inside refrigerator plus, will be problems with ice maker (break down) and water tube might gets mold is not wise to drinking. I rather used an old fashion to filling water in ice tray and putting in freezer. Also, I have a portable ice maker for the party.

Just so you know with café you do not loose any space in the fridge as the uce maker is in the door not in the fridge ;)

Very good video but for almost 15 min you don’t say nothing about doors, I mean how wide those doors are open. Some doors are flat with sides of the fridge and some are bigger and stick out so opening with open doors are wider 2 or 3 inches than frame of that refrigerator. So can you show how it’s look on sides with open doors please???

It is a beautiful refrigerator but my husband works for Whirlpool so I am bias. 🤷🏽‍♀️

All this is the GE Profile line with some fancy trim and colors. Their is literally no difference except $1K or more mark up.

Fridge width is 36" not 39"... don't know how you made that measurement

Don’t tell me ice maker broke…. Why can’t fridge companies get this right? That’s why we’re getting rid of ours . I got the black . Cafe white is not white, doesn’t match white cabinets.

Absolutely not! We are on our 3rd one and now it is having issues cooling. Do not buy cafe

NOT worth it!!! I paid a fortune for the entire kitchen set. My refrigerator freezer has not worked properly since day 1!!! They came today (Jetsons Appliance) to repair it, 1st of all, it should have been replaced with a brand new fridge, but no, he came to fix it and now my freezer is not building up ice anymore, oh no, it's not freezing at all!!!!!!! YES that means that ALL of my meat is defrosting & they can't send anyone until tomorrow, the bag of ice that I purchased is not going to last the night! I called GE for "SUPPORT", I've been on hold for exactly 1 hr. 31 minutes and still nobody has helped me to try to figure out what this bozo did to my refrigerator to make it even worse than it was???? They close at 9pm eastern so I assume since it's 7:30, I will be on hold for another hour & a half and then they will just disconnect me. 100% regret paying all this money for the entire kitchen and not having anyone willing to help me. I'm going to lose all my meat & fish :( This is HORRIBLE!!!

My ice maker is currently broken! Looking for another fridge with no handles. I want a sleek design. Perhaps without an ice maker! 🧊 😉
