Omg I would love one of those!! It’s too pretty to cook in!

I have the GE Cafe CC2S950 gas range. From new(2020 or 2021), the front right burner on simmer up to number 2 setting where flame is still low would cause the sensor to think the flame is out and would activate all spark ignitions of all burners 1-2 times every minute. Cannot use it on simmer. Had tech out 3-4 times for this. They tried to add a ground cable to another burner (front left burner) and it seems to have helped. ALSO a very bad design flaw is that the exhaust vent for the oven, which operates when the oven is on and for several minutes after the oven is off, located at the rear right blows horizontally across the right two burners. If you are using those burners when the exhaust is operating, the blowing air will blow out the burners unless on medium to high flame. But then the flame is not uniform and dancing all over the place due to the exhaust air flow. To some extent, it also affects the flame on the middle burners. When the rear right oven exhaust is operating, I must use something thin and upright and police it at the rear of the right cast iron grate to block the airflow if using the burners on the right. The the exhaust will blow upwards. I use my stainless steel stove top round burner covers. No fix from GE.

What power is needed to have the beautiful piece ? I am converting from gas.

I have a brand new GE Cafe induction slide in stove with double ovens. Installed in April 2023. Used the top oven for the first time over July 4th to bake a baked bean casserole. Set oven to BAKE at 350. It preheated for about 3 minutes and thought that was terribly fast. Put the 5 quart casserole dish in covered top with aluminum foil. Checked it after 30 minutes and the center was STILL ROOM TEMPERATURE! After that experience, my wife and I did some testing on both top and bottom ovens. We took an analog dial oven thermometer and placed it in the center of the cold oven. Set the temperature to 350 BAKE and when the display went from preheat to 350, we looked at the thermometer and it read 250. It took another 15 minutes for the oven to read a thermometer reading of 350. Both ovens acted the same. We're calling for service and believe it's the oven control panel that will need replaced. Very disappointed in our 4 month wait, $4600 stove.

Mine came with a metal strip and screws but I can't tell where it goes. Didn't come with an assembly manual. Anyone know where it goes?

No, it's non induction. I just checked on mine.

How does that Downdraft vent at the back work?? Can it vent outside? Does it have a Filter? Can't find any info about it in the Owner's Manual or Installation Manual.

I believe that's just for the oven vent.

I’m a little disappointed that you can see the side of the oven. And it doesn’t match the finish of the front. I’d wish they’d have the front couple of inches designed to match.

Well, I’m disappointed because I have ordered this range, except in stainless from a company local to me. Is it standard to see the unfinished side of the range like that or does it have to do with your installation? I notice you have counter in the back of the cooktop. I think mine will fit back further.

You're absolutely right. It's very possible yours will fit further back. We have a piece granite on the rear side to accommodate a prior range that was in place. This particular model does not require it, so it can be pushed further back depending on placement of your outlet which you can relocate if necessary. I hope yours fits to your likings.
