Rubber bullets are meant to be bounced off of another surface and ricochet into the target's center of mass, but he fires them right at the head. It's just like real life!

@@noblepuma6033 I'm a cat owner. Yes people use water spray bottles. But it isn't the only way. People who spray things at their animals are usually desperate or too lazy to work with the animals. There are so many other ways to manage 'bad' behavior that don't break down the trust between the animal and their people.

Prison Fact: You can actually apply to go to a different prison and in some areas, you can just pay to go to a better prison. Prisons also reject "applications" or prisoners based on their history with either the prison itself or just because of their criminal history. Remember prisons are generally run by corporations so it's all about money. Our incarceration system is less about restructuring behavior and more about making as much money as possible.

You didn't specifically mention the States so maybe you're referring to somewhere I don't know much about, but to say prisons are "generally" run by corporations is, at least in the U.S., heavily misleading at best and outright false at worst. Even at the height of private prison use in the States, the significant majority of prisoners have always been housed in government-controlled institutions. This isn't to say private prisons aren't an atrocity, but there's plenty of evidence for that without resorting to falsehoods.

They are NOT generally run by corporations there are very few private prisons in the US. Most are are fully government run

At first I thought it was gonna be a prison simulator from the point of view of an inmate. I mean, they should totally do that, maybe you could try to escape or form a gang. Is there a game like that?

A realistic prison simulator from the viewpoint of an inmate? I hope you enjoy boring repetitive conversation about what you could be doing for hours on end in a small room with no privacy and hard surfaces. The way jail/ prison is portrayed in media is far removed from the way it actually is. It's incredibly boring. And hateful.

I remember playing this game, it's remarkable how accurate it is in certain areas. I worked as a prison guard for 3 years and saw a lot of familiar things, mostly regarding security checks, work call and shake downs. I hope the best for the developer, but this game gave me a bit of anxiety due to it's accuracy, so I will only be experiencing it through let's plays.

I can only hope Mark's simulator kick never ever ends! There are almost COUNTLESS simulators (varying in quality, of course), so he's got a lot of questionable and potentially fun content to work with.

I love how he always loves every sim game talking abt how he didn’t expect it to be good

can you imagine a single guard running around the jail, being chased by ONE inmate, screaming "please leave me alone, help me someone!"

Anybody else notice that new prisoner at the start was “harmless” and convicted for murder

Probably a 3rd degree murder then, though I find it hard to believe since he attacked Mark after being sprayed

Mark: *sprays prisoner in the face with a fire extinguisher* Prisoner: *obviously gets angry and depends himself* Mark: "why is this prisoner being so aggressive?"

I love that on his first day he decides to run around and spray everyone with a fire extinguisher

When this fully comes out, please please play more! I choked on my popcorn from laughing too much

I believe they're trying to work something out currently, because when they played together earlier it was part of the Three Peens In A Pod podcast, and after they dropped it for Distractible which doesn't include gaming sessions, they committed to it and struggled to find time to game together because their schedules got tighter, especially when Mark was in Canada filming Edge Of Sleep, then working on Heist 2, and then went to Texas to film and direct In Space with Markiplier, so it was very hard for them to find any time for games. That's what I heard from Wade in one of his Twitch streams at least.

The naming got me confused given a project named "In Space with Markiplier" shouldn't normally be referred to as a sequel to another show with a completely different name. Also, *MARK AND THE BOYS ARE PLAYING VOID TRAIN TOGETHER RN!* The mighty 3 peens are reunited agains!

The way that Mark got caught off guard at 1:22 when the prisoner attempted to communicate a thought is what made my night feel complete
