And had a substantial online video following. Also a background in engineering. Yeah, it was that universes version of you. The second day required me to kill anyone with engineering background. Sorry Mark. Gotta pay the afterlife bills.

This game reminds me a lot of the ‘Arc of a Scythe’ series. Especially the part where it says “Mark a human with an engineering or industrial background” sometimes the ones who are killed (or “gleaned” as they call it in Scythe) are killed for a reason, while others are seemingly random and it reminded me of when Rowan (Scythe Lucifer) was receiving his training to become a scythe

Has anybody considered that Markiplier could be a voice actor as his second job this dude is freaking amazing at doing the voices for the different characters.

I am pretty sure Jack got the raise when he played this, there was a dialog option or something that said "wait, I am suppose to get paid for this?" or something like that and then Fate is like "oh yeah.. must have been an oversight, here you go" and he gives you coins that you can store in your desk drawer.

I saw someone else comment something similar, though they didn't say the exact name they got. Perhaps it's the same character? It was on day 2 just like yours, so unless you copied their comment, that's probably a prototyped character (as opposed to randomly generated)and might be a reference

Wouldn't that create a time paradox? If Mark is the grim reaper, and he checks the die box, would his power over life and death but nullified? Or would he just move on and be permanently attached to the job? Or maybe he would just cease to exist in any dimension; neither Grim, nor human.

cant believe it's been two years since this video. i remember watching this and being absolutely excited to watch future gameplay for the full thing

I just got the game! I'm enjoying it so much too. Hope you get to continue playing this, Mark. There are more characters and stories to go through beyond simply choosing who lives or dies.

I'm casually sitting here painting lemons and Mark just keeps talking about lemonade

I just noticed that the thing with lemons is a joke about “when life gives you lemons”

This game is so simple yet so effective, I love it lol. I’m glad that the developers added impact on what happens with each person’s death, it gives the game much more depth. Good job developers!

i hope mark continues playing this! it's really very very interesting and he seems to enjoy the demo a lot

@@kagemushashien8394 Basically it’s saying that the framework/workings of the constitution seem permanent (or simply imply that it could be permanent) but nothing in the world is certain to happen except death and taxes. Death because everything dies (the more obvious of the two) and taxes because throughout human history we’ve almost always had some form of taxes we were expected to pay
