Look, I've taken care of seven family members (my sister died in April) with cancer. I've driven them to chemo and radiation appts., and I can tell you wholeheartedly that their emotional state, as well as physical body, is fragile. They don't need upset, they don't need drama, they don't need demands, they don't need being thrown into a panic that someone is going to go to the media and blab about their condition. Making even small choices in life gives them a shred of dignity, the fact that they can still control a bit of their life before they can't and the cancer calls the shots. Enough about the king and trying to figure out his reasons for NOT seeing Harry.

You have no idea what it is to go through cancer treatment. To say that it's not a walk in the park is the understatement of the year. King Charles has done a wonderful job still carrying on his royal duties after his diagnosis. The last thing he needs is to have an audience with his "darling boy" that would be very stressful. He shouldn't have to worry about his every word being recorded to use as fodder for Netflix. Prayers to His Majesty for a complete recovery.

The statement concerning the King not having time to see him, is Prince Harry's very passive agressive claim to victimhood. "See, I told you - my father refuses to see me, my stories about my horrible family were true. But, I will be strong, like I always have had to be." Besides that, the statement served no purpose.

No one is afraid of h. The British envoy to Nigeria gave an interview there the other day explaining this was just a vacation and in no way a royal visit or reflecting the monarch. After that, Nigerian news put out the same message to make sure the Nigerians knew this was nothing to do with royalty or the royal family.

King does not want to hear Harry beg for money

Harry has proven he cannot make any correct decisions. That disqualifies him to lead, ever, anywhere at any level.

The royal family cannot afford harry to be thought of as equal in authority to the King and William, harry has proved he will do whatever he can no matter how manipulative or ruthless to anyone who will give him the time of day to present himself as an HRH British prince, and he will continue this PR push when William is King. The HRH titles have to be removed and the titles revoked so there can be no misunderstanding. They are private individuals with private connections to the royal family. Period. If this does not happen, harry will continue to project the image of a rival court, and this will go on forever. The Danish Queen did it. The King cn as well.

Regardless of how long the King spent at the garden party, he's having some pretty awful treatment for cancer. He probably tires very easily and needs to rest and no stress. Lets face it the awful duo have given him, and the rest of the family more stress than they need

Nearly a thousand or so guests; it's not like he could cancel. The event on the calendar for a very long time. Harry knows this.

After asking for privacy, these two grifters are forcing themselves down to our throats day after day and it is so annoying! Many of us wish they would just go away. They asked for privacy and should take it!

The Palace stated that they had no request from Harry for a meeting. Harry is just trying to make his father look bad.

Why would the King want to deal with Harry? BTW, it’s now been said Harry never requested to see his father. There is no record of him ever asking for a meeting. I don’t believe Harry’s recollections, which we see can change at any given moment.

For someone who says he and wife needs protection Nigeria seems perfectly peaceful to visit.

I am so embarrassed for them. I mean seriously why aren’t they institutionalized? Private citizen Harry inspecting those troops. Meghan’s instructions to be addressed Ma’am as if she were the monarch. How mortifying.

I found your statement interesting, as KC3 doctors told him to limit his stress, and Harry is a stressor. I have a family member undergoing cancer treatment that started in the prostrate, and I recently read that the National Cancer Institute has done testing and believes YES that stress can worsen cancer and, in fact, can cause cancer treatments such as chemotherapy to be less effective. So, it makes me concerned that the mass media is playing right into Prince Harry and his PR team's hands. The media acts as if King Charles III isn't human with real feelings and is cold and hateful by not dropping everything to succumb to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's schedules instead of vice versa. Isn't he under enough stress just by being the commonwealth leader with over 2.5 billion people? It would be more helpful to him if the mass media would cut the crap and do accurate reports for once!

He even commented on the non visit! Imagine what he would say or hint at if they did meet.

Why would KC fit him in ? H would have to be searched for microphones plus he was very rude to Camilla.

You have to go through the cancer and the treatments to know how it feels, it definitely is not a walk in the park.

It wasn’t a rift, so much as KC not wanting to condone H’s fake-royal tour.

Harry needs to plan in advance with his dad when is a good time to visit. He should understand more than anyone how busy the King is and work with him when to visit.

Harry and wife were at King Charles outdoor birthday party and M.M.after 10 minutes got bored, and told Harry she wanted to leave.

Harry knows how the royal family works. He knows his family are always very busy with their royal duties. Which are arranged months in adavance throughout the year. He also knows his dads not well with cancer, and im sure is very tired afterwards. If Harry truly wanted to see his dad, why doesn't he visit when he himself is not busy with his projects in the UK. King Charles has invited Harry, Megan and their two children to Balmoral this summer. Thats if they even turn up. Harry also knew about this visit. So its really no big deal they didnt get to spend anytime together this time as they were both busy. The King in no way snubbed Harry.

@PS-pb2gm Exactly, Harry expects the red carpet when he drops in to see his dad. He's either allegedly looking for money or to get his dad to sign for a diplomatic visa as his runs out next year. He wants his IPP status back.

Why would the Royal Family get frightened or threatened by the two? The RF has a long time ago ignored and continued their lives gracefully without even for once using Harry and Meghan in any way. It is the two who cannot get rid and ignore the Royal Family. The two need to be royal to stay relevant.
