I agree. MM blanked the 2 schoolgirls who were standing with their teacher who was talking to Harry. One of the girls stepped forward with tray in hand to present gifts to MM. I am so happy to see the King back on his feet and at the garden party! God bless him!

I have been to a garden party at the Palace for the centenary of the National Trust. It was so hot and nowhere to sit except for the grass. We were lucky as there was not a huge number of people there, probably about a 1,000. The food and drinks were amazing. If you get to go, make sure you have eaten as the portions are dainty. It was a great day, and we really enjoyed everything so much and an honour for us all. A few chosen people were chosen to go and have tea with the Queen and King Charles in a cordoned area. We were able to walk around the grounds and sit on a couple of benches placed in beautiful gardens the size of a park. Mobile phones were not as good, and we were not allowed 🚫 to take photographs. It was such a shame because a few pictures would be nice to look back on. The invertation was beautiful in white with gold embellishments. I count myself as being very lucky to have been to one of the famous garden parties.

What planet is Richard Kay inhabiting? I did not see M conducting herself 'magnificently'. Her clothing was excruciatingly inappropriate, she was rude, she was fake, she was pushy, and - worst of all - she made the entire trip all about herself. Her supposed Nigerian ancestry, her 'homecoming', her roles as a wife, mother, feminist role model, etc. True royal work is about shining a light on the causes and people they are visiting, it is never about publicising themselves.

Prayers for Lady Gabriella Windsor from California. She is the one royal I’ve ever seen or greeted in person, at a play I went to in London a few years back. Clearly a sweet spirit.

I've seen an interview with some Nigerian women who were less than impressed with MM. Can't remember where I saw it exactly but worth a watch. Also the "hospital" Harry visited was a setup by all accounts. No medical equipment, just some men laying around in fresh scrubs on beds. That's worth a watch too... esp the "conversation" H had with one "patient" who had no time for him, to the point H was definitely miffed by the end of it.

"FILTHY it was" - I absolutely adore Richard Eden.

I was fortunate to attend a Royal garden party in 2010 on my retirement and at that time it was made quite clear that no phones were allowed to be switched on so no way could you take photographs. It was the most wonderful experience and one of the things that really surprised me was how tiny the then Queen was. As Richard said a real honour and one of the highlights of my life. The photograph we sneakily took on the way out in the inner courtyard still has pride of place.

Exactly. William was already as child Diana's confident and she prised his maturity. Her verdict about Harry was totally different. The protection officers had huge problems with Harry, who even in his book told how he with purpose hit one of them on the face in order to get him fight with him The friends, who know both of them, have told that they are suspicious about Harry's claim that William pushed him to kitchen floor and said that it would be much easier to believe other way round. They have told how Harry always damaged and messed up everything, and then came William and fix and cleaned up all messes Harry had created and caused.

This was stage managed every moment. And there were dissident voices. This was rebranding primarily for Netflix. You saw what you were allowed to see. Prince Harry was born into royalty so should be able to keep his title of Prince. BUT the title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex was a gift from the Queen on their wedding day and should absolutely be removed by King Charles and the parliament. They wanted out of the royal family so their children should lose their titles as well and not be in the line of succession.

Meghan kept her American citizenship and passport. She decided to leave and go back to America and took her husband and children with her. We did consider having the police arrest her, put her in the tower and treat her like Charles the first and Anne Boylen, but Harry kept crying, the baby was teething, so we let them leave in peace. ✌️

Harry and Meghan originally went to Canada on a limited special visa for his help in the Invictus games, he could only go to a commonwealth country. Then the pandemic came and the USA were shutting the boarders so they went by private jet to California. They had no visa for America authorised from the UK. There was only Archie born at the time.

This is definitely a case of don’t do as I do but do what I say. For two people who preached to us about limiting our vacations due to climate change. This news of H & M doing a lot of traveling is so hypocritical and narcissistic. Truly disgusting!!

There is no way that Meghan looked glamorous. Virtually every outfit was totally inappropriate, showed far too much skin and many of the dresses dragged on the ground looking dishevelled. In addition to that she was extremely rude at times, but especially at the first school visit where she turned her back and dragged Harry away when a school teacher and two pupils were in the middle of talking to her and offering her eats. I have seldom seen such boorish behaviour. You add the dress with no sides, no bra and bare shoulders and it was a study in how not to behave as a Royal. She disrespected the Nigerian people and her hosts. As for Harry on their last outing being pulled along between two Nigerian men who were trying to keep him upright while he staggered around like a drunk or someone who was high as a kite - unbelievable!

Meghan’s dress code was atrocious for Nigeria. Halter dresses with bare backs & shoulders? One of the keys to diplomacy is dressing appropriately based of the country’s norms, not Hollywood’s.

@@judylawrence1604 not sure why it matters but I’m 58. Was she dressed poorly? Not for a party in the west. However, for a conservative country, one should dress to their norms. Every woman pictured with her has covered shoulders and back. She should have done more research and been respectful of their norms as she was a guest there.

LOL Trust me The Nigerian Trip, was no where near embarrassing, as William and Kate's Tri[ the Caribbean. That was an embarrassing disrespectful Royal Tour. No wonder , the countries want Independence. William and Kate being driven around , in an open top Range Rover. waving at child, via barbed wire. It stunk of Colonialism. Its 2024, not 1954. The Queen was adored in the Commonwealth. William and Kate, can be The Royals of the UK , New Zealand and Australia.

She was called out, rebuked by Nigeria's first lady. 😂 A woman of real class.

I would love to see Zara and Mike be more involved in royal work. They are so popular and really nice people

I am in total disagreement with Richard Kay on Meghan "conducting herself magnificently" in Nigeria. Even he knows he's lying by the wringing of his hands. If a full display of naked shoulders, in every outfit she wore in Nigeria is a indicator? She was embarrassingly bare. In a country that requires women to dress modestly. They kept giving her clothes, but no. She wouldn't put on the garments.

The Nigeria holiday did not go well and Meghan did not come over well. Not sure why the media, and especially the BBC, are giving it any coverage. I certainly object to any of my licence fee being spent on a crew to cover anything from Harry and Meghan.

They only allowed select reporters and photographers to cover the visit. ALL who would only report favorably. It was completely staged and controlled by them. No fair and balanced reporting. This as a PR stunt and merching opportunity for Meghan to cash in.

@@zelmareverkes649 Possibly because Harry is the son King Charles; he also always appears to fly to the UK to try to check in with Charles, before going onto an immediate overseas event to keep the Royal connection alive and people believe the stories they preach. The media give them coverage as their PR company ensures all media outlets discuss them. I believe that they also had a Netflix team / private photographers to create another Netflix documentary-series as initial objective was to discuss the possibility of hosting an Invictus Games in Nigeria in the future.

I just love Jo. Really enjoy when Richard Kaye join Rebecca and Richard.

Harry and Meghan could have lived in a much smaller home, bought reasonable clothing, and lived off their millions. Meghan wants it all.
