Pressure Passing in Modern Jiu Jitsu (w Andris Brunovskis)
Спорт
Jiu Jitsu tends to have trends with passing styles and guard styles. Pressure passing for a long time was discounted in lighter divisions but more recently it has been making a return. Andris has some of the best details I have seen on pressure passing systems, what I like about these systems is they are easy to implement on someone before they establish a guard they like to play, which allows you to pass without putting your self in too much danger. Look out for more videos soon with Andris as well as another upcoming Q and A soon. Comment and let me know your questions and request for the next Q and A.

Andris is awesome. You two are like a killer duo of jiu-jitsu teaching.
This is a gift from heaven for us old guys taking on those 20-something former wrestlers!

Hahaha unless those same wrestlers have seen this video too and use it against us

I'm an old guy, and I use *exclusively* this pass, and have since white belt.

Agree - both really good instructors. And I'm an old guy too.
Fantastic content as usual and I found the use of his mnemonics to remember the steps surprisingly helpful (ie looking over the fence, etc.). Digging the pressure passing game!
1:59 I got goosebumps when he shows his left arm like this, its like he's begging for a kimura
This is fantastic ! Really enjoy the Over Under Pass and Pressure Passing in general.... this is a great add. Thank you !
The goat is back!!!
Loved the finish variation! I'll have to give that a try. The overunder is one of my go to pass :).
This is dope! Great explanation.
Heavily into O/U passing at the moment. Been looking for a good transition into sidesmash. Thank you. 💪🏻
Wow. Great variation!
Wow, what a treat!
Awesome, love TPG techniques learned from Gracies, presure, presure, presure....
Thank you Andris!
Awesome variation for when you run into those strong frames on the outside shoulder/arm
super cool, profesors. awesome content
Wonderful details
Best content!
Excellent!!!
Great stuff
Great content, when you train in a regular roll (don't get many chances to do specific training) is your goal to tap the guy as many times as you can or do let them reguard for example and keep working passing
Great stuff! Really nice details.

Would love to see both your ideas on passing worm and reverse de la worm guard.
Amazing instruction and technique! Andris is a great great teacher - really explained well! 👏🏽🔥 Osss #DeLaRivaBlackBelt
Amazing super detailed and tight instruction and great technique +Andris but this is Rodolfo Viera's exact passing game and instruction too.. For sure should give him his credit Ossu
Beautiful. I've always had a problem with those frames. What are your thoughts on going to a tackle pass, a la kabib, by triangling the legs?
Thanks!
Thank you
Nice! 🤗
Jon, can you please show an omoplata counter when they shoot for it besides roll when you’re still on your all fours?
As an over under passer... thank you
Sick
Good position thanks
👍
Can i apply this skill in nogi or mma?
Great stuff! One question - every time i try to over under a guy at my gym he grabs my “under”arm and pushes hard against it with his hamstring to offbalance or sweep me sideways. Any solution?

Brother under from Bernardo faria. Fabio gurgel spoke about it in his stack pass' dvd
has anyone tried this yeat ? when you get to smash pass stage how likely is it for them to entangle one of your legs??????
I like it...it's kind of like the Bernardo Faria version with guiding the legs back to the centerline but with a twist at the end. You'll never believe what happened next! (You're welcome for the clickbait headline)
How would you prevent your opponent from taking the Kimura at 2:00 with the pant hand?
I have a question about guard that I cannot find an answer for. How can I message you?
Andris is nologer with atos?
Trust me, this is high level pressure passing.
Whats stopping a kimura on your left arm grabbing the knee? Looks like a juicy steak to me.
