I really like the idea of the McElroys producing their own Andrew Johnson hip hop stage musical and becoming bitter rivals with their former friend Lin Manuel Miranda.

At the very least it would make a damn good episode of TV, season 2 pleeeeease!
i like how justin's version of andrew johnson's presidency is literally an adam sandler movie
I love Griffin's laugh when he realizes Justin doesn't know how many presidents there are

i think that laugh also comes from the fact that griffin didnt know either hahaha. and to be fair, i didnt know the number before trump got elected, because people referred to him as 45 a lot. before that though, i just knew it was 40something lmao. too many, thats all i know. stupid country
Nah imma go buss a nut

the “oh f7ck” and distant laughter lmao 😂😂😂
...and then he ascended
Honestly not wrong on Johnson. He did act like a kid often. He was a poor southerner who had climbed to the vice presidency so he made reconstruction about rich southerners apologizing to him personally.
mbmbam history episode where they explain their version of American history
8:55 for Justin not knowing how many presidents there are
"Where is he today?" Well, while visiting Antarctica studying penguins, an avalanche froze his body solid in ice, preserving him for the day when his country needed him again.

I think that day has long SINCE PASSED
"Okay guys we can start the raid. Back and to the left."
5:15 I'd love to hear more from Justin about this pool that's literally IN the oval office.
Cory in the house: the prelude
"*now* do your little jokes." Justin's energy is something i aspire to daily
they essentially described the opposite of what andrew johnson did
This bit absolutely cursed me because I can’t refer to Lincoln ever like I’m a normal person. It’s always gonna be “Linko” for me
love that weird fading laugh at the very end
I wish you would've done your presidential podcast. (Also, thank you for uploading this. Every time I see it, I have to stop and listen.)
9:00 I’m pretty sure that is Griffin and Travis’ laugh that some how synchronized and amplified into an inhuman screech of the underworld
There's already an Andrew Jackson musical if anyone is interested! It's called "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" where Jackson is an Emo rockstar

@gwen6622
3 жыл бұрын
that's andrew jackson, a different guy. both awful people though, lol. that's definitely why travis was like "who? wait who?" because he thought justin said andrew jackson's name wrong, probably. but nope there really were two presidents with almost the same name and both of them were sacks of shit
I sure hope you guys highlight the text-to-speech battle slash climax. It made me dun flood my basement

My name is Andrew Johnson and this was a weird episode where I was taking a shower and was like “who am I”
This might be my new favorite bit

i think that's why travis was so surprised at first haha, he probably thought justin said andrew jackson's name wrong, but nope... they were two different people. and both of them were awful lol
Please. Please. Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease. Please. Do a presidential history subpodcast
Whenever I hear this question, I think about Justin getting angry at Sydney for saying the people they talk about on sawbones died.
YOU KNOW WE HAD TO DO IT TO EM
Wow the Trump episode would be wild
wait why does travis say rule of threes man
-Have you been taking bribes? -yes... ... And payote!
I'M FUCKING CRYING

Nixon was impeached, too

No, he resigned before that could happen (but it would have happened and then the Senate would have gone through the trial process and removed him (the process the brothers neglect to mention here)).
I refuse to believe "Andrew Johnson" is a real guy. You're telling there's been less than 50 presidents ever and there's been two that are called "Andrew Johnson" and "Andrew Jackson"? That's not real! Did Johnson just hit the campaign trail in fucking Groucho glasses after getting impeached like "Hey, guys, it's me, Andrew J... -ackson, yeah, Jackson, and I'm back, by which I mean what? I've never been here before haha anyways I'd like to be president again, by which I mean for the first time. Vote for Andrew Johnson! Not! Because that's not my name. Actually vote for Andrew Jackson, who is me, and I'm NOT Andrew Johnson in comedy disguise glasses. God bless America."

How about there having been less than 50 presidents and two of them were from the same family and had the same name?
