Just listening to President Ronald Reagan made you feel safe Every future president should listen to the speeches of President Ronald Reagan one of the great orators of our time. We did. His name was Obama. It's not about corrupt socialism political parties that only wants your money but about someone who never changed who he was before 50 and after 50. Reagan changed political parties after he turned 50 because of jobs were drying up in the entertainment era for him. His fought for the democratic party until 50, then switched party platforms. He tried to destroy the middle class but never did

Yes, peace freedoms love and glory to God. Agreed. But then there are haters, unbelievers, people who reject what is decent righteous and good. God sets the standard and we as human fall miserably short of that. This may come off as an extreme example but I hope it's understood as intended. The example being from the perspective of a God loving person. It is not wrong to kill, it is wrong to murder. Righteous justification demands, not always being nice to your neighbor. So what I mean is, not to commit violence on anyone, but rather just to let the truth be known, we can all have differences we can agree to disagree, but there are fundamental truths that should be and sometimes need to be established and not let ignorance and foolish hate with no basis try and run anything.

But as a strong leader we couldn't have asked for any more than Ronald Reagan. That's all I ask for in a president no matter the political party. A president that makes every decision from the heart and does so With the American people on his mind and Ronald reagan did just that. Unfortunately these days you hear people from other countries say things like "all Americans want to do is spread democracy around the world and they will do so at any cause" And for that I say you're damn right there is no better fight than one for freedom.

The difference are the speechwriters of the time. All Presidents' speeches in the modern era are written by professional speechwriters on their staff. If Reagan's writers had written a speech for President Trump, the speech content would have been phrased and couched the same, but the pronunciation and elocution of course would not have been the same. After all, President Reagan was a trained actor prior to his political career and had nearly perfect diction. As for Biden? He keeps introducing himself as the "husband of Joe Biden" and has no idea where he is half the time, stammers, stutters, mispronounces simple words, and can't even read simple notes in front of him, so no, a man suffering from full-blown dementia would never sound like President Reagan.

Interesting to witness the sharp contrast in rhetoric of western leaders then compared to now. Belief in freedom, political, economic and individual. Now it's all about how the state should intervene in all aspects of life so that some alleged all-encompassing danger (covid, climate change) can be dealt with. Moreover, here Reagan says that he offered Soviet Premier, Leonid Brezhnev the chance to directly address the American people provided the Soviets allowed the same opportunity to Reagan. It's now the exact opposite. In the most recent US-RUS summit, Putin took several questions from American & other western journos whereas Biden took questions only from selected American journalists.

I admire President Reagan more and more as my years go by. His speeches show me that he had a grasp, a strong, clear GRASP! Of the challenges then and now, of the stark differences between a representative form of government and totalitarianism - a word on he often used. In today's fleeting flux, will nations retain sovereignty, or be submissive to the one world totalitarianism, written about in Agenda 21, Agenda 2030 and A50/70, and similar documents and in the words of elites, rulers, 'the select,' the gatekeepers, the powerfully wealthy, and the ridiculous radicals of the leftist left, the bereft! Etc etc.

@@mazmonte77 hatred for America, wow that sounds like a political speech rally in any Muslim nation who hates America and cries that outwardly makes it well known. There's a beautiful thing we have in America here it's called freedom, and you have the freedom to live anywhere else and leave this country. And although Trump is a poor excuse for a human being, I do have to admit that God will use imperfect people for his perfect plan. Chew on that one.

@@sur-real3416 did u understand what I said?? I stated that the LEFT hates America. And clearly indicated that I don't subscribe to what they believe. That hatred is , like I said, intellectually disguised( meaning they don't always express it out loud, except when they are rallying with antifa). This is what I said and meant . Where in those words do you find that I don't love or care the for freedom or America ?? Especially now that we lost 13 lives thanks to the moron in the white house we need people who can , at least, understand what they read.
