    I don't think he wanted freedom for millions of people, but he left a trail of blood in third world countries, especially in Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Grenada, where specially trained American soldiers killed and raped women and children, and did not spare the elderly or children. The destruction of the Berlin wall was for him the reason for the subsequent destruction of the USSR and the entire socialist bloc. And you still continue to be proud of him as a liberator?

  • @francog8691

    @@Svetodiod16 You forget time mention the countless atrocities & human rights violations that the Sandinistas (FSLN) committed in aforementioned countries where “US soldiers raped & killed all” according to you. You’re a puppet, and spewing propaganda without ever talking to the people, knowing the region or even being there. Study a bit about the Sandinista national liberation front, and their drug trafficking, guerrilla warfare, and massacre of innocents. You deny history, and everyone from a mile away knows you’re full of shit.

  • @Svetodiod16

    @Svetodiod16

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@francog8691 Everyone knows that the US intervenes everywhere, in all third world countries: Latin America, Central Asia, Europe ... the United States, for the sake of their interests, staged wars in these countries. Where do you think the Sandinistas are going to get weapons for this war? Of course, they were sponsored by the United States with billions of dollars. For example, El Salvador was in the first place for American aid per capita, of course this money went to the Sandinistas to kill civilians suspected of sympathizing with socialism. This was described in great detail by Director Oliver stone. And that's just Latin America. In Central Asia, the United States staged no less war. For example, the war in Afghanistan, where the USSR sent its troops to wage war against the Afghan Mujahideen. Guess who sponsored and armed these thugs by the billions, and spread the terrorist ideology of Wahhabism throughout the Middle East? Of course, the USA. And, of course, the United States is a big culprit in the problem of the XXI century-the ISIS terrorists, whom they themselves sponsored. Both Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden were allies of the United States, but only later did they begin to consider them enemies. Further, the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999 by NATO countries, and so on. We, in Russia, have always been taught and are taught the correct history, but in the West they love to distort the truth of history! For example, answer me 2 simple questions: Which person was the first to fly into space? Where was the world's first nuclear power plant built? if you answer correctly, I will continue the dialogue, if not, I will deeply doubt your knowledge of history,

    As non-American I'll hold my comments on his domestic policies, but as international statesman he has had a crucial role in the reunification of Europe. That on me personally, as a person half-Dutch and half-Polish, has had profound influence. Where first I had to be lucky to see my Polish family once every two years, I know can live in Poland going back to Holland twice a month. And that all started with this man (and Gorbachov deserves credit here too). This is speech is full of rhetoric, but it did put all the things in motion towards German and European reunification.
