It is a fact the people of Poland saw Reagan as a hero and had his picture on the walls of their homes .News has a way of getting to the people who are oppressed as it did in ww2. Polands Lech Walesa dissident and Nobel peace laureate was getting inspired personally (through back channel help) from Reagan in toppling communism so much so that he honored him a few years ago by unveiling a statue of the President in the middle of Warsaw.

Lee Atwater, advisor to Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush said quote: “Y'all don't quote me on this. You start out in 1954 by saying, "N*****, n*****, n*****”. By 1968, you can't say "n*****"-that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me-because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this", is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "N*****, n*****". So, any way you look at it, race is coming on the back-burner.” Know who and what you’re actually voting for.

That was nice to hear thanks. There are a lot of good people, Republicans Democrats and independents, if you take away their politics, the trick is can they be good and still keep their politics. Reagan did a very good job of that he was who he was wherever he was at. He left America in good shape after his second term and a Soviet Union back in their place.

The absolute worst government in office I can remember. Satan has taken it over and pulling out all the stops to destroy it. Trump was not perfect but I believe he truly does love this country and wants to save it and I also believe he is the only one who can do it. I also believe this downward spiral our great nations is headed started a long time ago, especially in the 60s, and we let it happen. We sat back and gave the government too much power and now it is openly telling the truth by saying things like “we are coming for your children”. My country is turning into Sodom and Gomorrah and all we need do is open our Bibles and see what happened to them, there was not one person worth saving. It has nothing to do with the left, feminism or how kids are raised. It has everything to do with people in reagan's time being able to support a family of six off of one full time working parent. Compared to now where you need both parents working to support a family with one child. Also screaming maniacs complaining how they are oppressed? @@bknyland4134 PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN buck one, Timbuktu . . . The long-awaited finale of the televised poem competition had arrived. President RONALD REAGAN had entered the competition. He announced that he would only be reciting poems about personal spiritual experiences. Despite this limitation, it turned out he was gifted with words and he had made it all the way to the final. His opponent was favored to win: Pope John Paul II on the top of his career and with a mind as sharp as a knife’s edge. Pope John Paul II was up first. He was informed of the rules: "Two minutes to come up with a poem, and it must involve Timbuktu." The clock started, and the Pope approached the microphone: "On my way through desert sand met a lonely caravan Men on camels, two by two . . . Destined for: Timbuktu." The crowd went wild. Commentators were ecstatic. This was without a doubt the best poem of the competition. The Pope had done it again! But as the crowd settled down their spirits sank. As far as anyone knew, RONALD REAGAN had never been to Timbuktu, which was soon confirmed by the TV commentator. How could REAGAN have a personal spiritual experience with Timbuktu? REAGAN went on stage and was informed of the rules: "Two minutes to come up with a poem, and it must involve Timbuktu." The clock was started, but after only a short thought, the President REAGAN stopped it. As REAGAN approached the microphone, silence went through the audience. Was he withdrawing from the competition? No, to everybody’s surprise REAGAN started to recite his poem based on personal spiritual experiences: "Me and Tim to my hotel went met some boys, cheap to rent. They were three and we were two, So I bucked one, and 'Tim-bucked-two.'"

"Perhaps I'll be able to see him in person." To his surprise, REAGAN sits down in the seat next to him. Shortly after take-off, REAGAN begins a crossword puzzle. Almost immediately, REAGAN turns to The Pope and says, "Excuse me, but do you know a four letter word referring to a woman that ends in ‘-unt’?’" One word comes to his mind. "My goodness," thinks The Pope, "I can't tell President REAGAN that. There must be another word." The Pope thinks for a while, and then it hits him. Turning to REAGAN, The Pope says, "I think the word you're looking for is ‘aunt.’" "Of course," says REAGAN. "Do you have an eraser?"

Reagan armed Saudi Bin Laden and had Bin Laden as a CIA agent. Reagan called the Taliban the freedom comparable to the Founding Fathers. What that cost the USA. Reagan gave poison gas and helicopters to Saddam Hussein who used those arms against the Kurds in 1988. Reagan never served in WWII and only did movies with Errol Flynn who Reagan was jealous of. Reagan later imagined he liberated concentration camps. Reagan never fought in North Africa, Europe, or the Pacific. Read And the Band Played On. Reagan and Aidsgate. History will recall Reagan did least of all. Where was the Manhattan project for Aids ??? Reagan healthcare plan was just don't get sick. Think of Reagan and the decade of greed. Glad Reagan Junior is an atheist and a Democrat. Reagan Junior did say Reagan had Alzheimer's already in his first term. Glad Nancy Reagan endorsed First Lady Hillary Clinton in 2016. Stop the corporate welfare. Did you you get your trickle from Reagan ??? Well no American except the one-percent will get their trickle now.

Reagan was truly the Great Communicator. His humor, humility and class was remarkable. Also, it's worth noting that most of these jokes and speeches were given without a teleprompter. As an example, look at how effortlessly he recited this "story" at 32:52....sure, it was prepared, but he delivered it flawlessly. What an incredible stateman and POTUS. I believe our country could find some common ground if either party could find a candidate like Reagan...

I saw this was 42 minutes and thought it too long. Before I knew it, it was over and I was wanting more! What a great time to be alive! I turned 18 in 1980, voted for Reagan twice. I wouldn't have traded those times for anything! Loved the 80's! I feel sorry for anyone that missed it! Looking at the mess we have in the white house now, makes me realize how good we had it. Biden couldn't put 2 words together from a joke, before forgetting it!

It would have to be on a teleprompter and even then his delivery is questionable.

Thank you for this. His life, his words, his presidency proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that I am following the right path. Thank you for this and all the videos of the Reagan Library.

I guess over 135% deaths by mass shooting in his 3 1/2 yrs compared to Obama's EIGHT had nothing to do with him? i guess him lying & contradicting himself over & over & over again has nothing to do with him?? the record unemployment has nothing to do with him?? @Harry Denny If you think the Democrats are better, your a complete fool. Both parties manipulate the people for their own personal gain.
