Just Purchased.

If your $ tree has the canned Black beans made with jalapenos and lime from the Hanover brand grab them! They are great! I took 2 cans of them,a can of chili tomatoes and $ tree smoked sausage, added garlic powder and onion powder. Cooked for 3 hours on low in the crockpot and put over rice. Deeeeelicious!🐝

For the watchers... the USAs qtip and cotton ball factory is going out of business and closing its doors next month so stock up. Cotton crops are down over 50%as it is, so this closure is going to stink prices and supplies.

$ general has 300 qtips in a box for a 1.00 and also cotton balls but I don't know how many in a bag. Also,I save the cotton out of medicine and vitamins in a large empty prescription bottle.

🐝 The freeze dried lemon process you mention works great. It’s a bit rough on your blender when you powder it if it’s got a plastic jar.

I was breeder for 30 years and I've used Strongid, Nemux and my favorite of all which I switched to, as a few others I know have and that is SAFEGUARD FOR GOATS, just need to learn the break down..and still use for my personal pets...Some don't know that you can get Poison ivy/ oak from your pets fur, so if you walk and Fido comes in contact, or in doubt, bath, with gloves...Scrub is a great thing to stock... Great haul.. Prayers to all and the ability to stock for any & all Emergencies...♥️🌹

Hi Jara. The homeless situation in this country is definitely getting worse but still not too bad up here in ME. I hope someone will eventually figure out what can be done. 🤷 Plus so many are mentally ill and were let out of hospitals to fend for themselves.😢 Bangor does have a serious problem but not down here yet🤞 near me in Bah Harbah/Ellsworth area. The Jiffy pie crust works great and will be flaky if you freeze your bowl and water. Use the super cold water (just above freezing temp) and put the dough for the 2nd crust in the fridge while you roll out the other. 🐝

I will Always be preping my pantry but at this time I'm working on things like a way to do laundry (cant do the bucket/plunger method) a James/Lehman's washer, a way to clean carpets without electricity ( old rolling sweeper) a non electric/camp shower...camp toilet with absorbant gel. A pasta roller, a grain mill, coffee grinder and so many more items all non electric that will allow me to just buy bulk basics and create All those things that cost a fortune if I buy ready made.

Mantra for 2023 … do you have what you will need? Yes we freeze dry lemons and limes. Recommend you wash, remove the label, slice thin and remove the seeds.

Mac & cheese made per directions and add 1/2 lb. Browned hamburger, some peppers & onions sauteed & 1can diced tomatoes. Stir altogether & top with grated cheese. Bake for about 30 minutes until heated through.

Have you ever tried the coconut cream that comes in a little rectangle cardboard container? Of course it's wrapped in plastic inside. It is the richest coconut cream though it does have some little coconut crunchies in it and can be hard to find, but it's what I stock up on.

I soften it in the oven then stir in lots of chocolate chips and some roasted almonds...tastes like an Almond Joy

Don't pick the raspberry leaves till the fruit is ready. I usually wait till the fruit is about to end then pick and dry the leaves. Makes a very nice tea

Hey J and R, Med supplies this week..Larger bandages , 4x4 ,6x6 , 5x9 , 10x8 , ANOTHER choking extractor ( carry 1 with me in all first aid kits), wound cleaner spray, KLIX tape that sticks to itself , sterile 4in rolled gauze , Fish mox for my guppy MOLLYANNA , Wound Seal , Another trauma sheers .. Have taken the Wilderness First Aid at SOLO here in Conway.. I use a AMMO box for my home first aid kit..Not much funny this time just a WICKED pisssssaaaahhhhh vid..

Hey Georgia, thanks for watching! It definitely is a lot, but it's worth it to us. We've been working on rearranging and organizing and planning a video on that for awhile. But it's time consuming and, where we're constantly adding to our stockpile, it's easy to get behind. We are working on expanding and having more shelves in our basement, which is a big undertaking but will definitely pay off. Stay tuned though, we'll have content about that soon hopefully!

what the cost of food going up and everything in my area it's hard to prep used to be easier about 5 years ago but since Joe biden's been in office and Democrats have destroyed California it's only getting worse the hardest thing for me is prepping water
