Day 3 in the Kick-ass Kettlebell Series! Kettlebell cleans, push press, squats and hip drive all present in this power kettlebell workout!
All you will need for this power kettlebell workout is a kettlebell and a mat for cool down! If you have dumbbells you can also use those or if you have a selection of kettlebell weights you can also keep those close by!
The kettlebell I am using throughout is 12kg for your reference!

just a heads up ( before i say this, no one is perfect, there is always another to learn from) kettlebells are body centered. They are not to be treated as a weight with long lever action. some of her moves if done as she did WILL hurt you. Before you do this, i suggest learning kettlebells and SKOGGS was great. he continuously took you through workouts and taught you over and over again with proper form and taught you the rationale behind it. Trust me. I had to watch all of these moves and thankfully i had his training first. So i modified as they should be to ensure a great workout and not getting hurt. The skoggs system is 12 weeks, it's a dvd and you can buy it and learn as soon as you want to. if you already know, then i'm sure, just like me, you adjusted as you went through the workout. I got a squat PR at 65kg yesterday. Before the EPIC II it was around 40 😭 Caroline I'm so proud!!! Edit : wow this blew up!! Okay y'all, I can squat 80kg for 2 now 🥺🙌

The thing is that Caroline's just getting warmed up, did you notice every workout with the kettlebell looks fun until I tried to go for my 35lb kettlebell... She's incredibly strong so I'm sure we are in for a surprise in EPIC Heat

These videos are super helpful. For me its like im in the "should i work out today?" then I look ahhh a 35 minute video... ok i can do this... throw some laundry in, hit play, swing a bell. dont think just follow the video. 35 minutes later im sweaty and feel accomplished. DING laundry is done and that is the difference between a lazy saturday and a productive one... long story short thanks.

@@d2ruben I totally agree!! She has the best workout series and programs PERIOD!! She blows Beachbody out of the water!! Nothing they have comes even a smidgen close to what she bring to the table. She is the absolute best you can find!!🤩🤩
In my last two workouts i have burned over 250+ calories in 31-32 minutes which to me is a fire workout. I follow it up with abs and a quick cardio workout. 30 minutes initially sounded less but with time i have realised that it is just as good as any. With shorter rest period, it becomes more intense. I am absolutely loving it!

My shoulder strength has really improved with you Caroline. I have silly muscle that doesn't activate well and I have shoulder issues as a result. In epic 1 stuck to 4kg and slowly increased to 6kg to be safe. I now can use 8kg for push press moves which is a big thing for me. So thank you for increasing my shoulder strength and overall body strength!! Love ya 😘💗💓

Yesterday I didn't remove a mini bracelet that I always have on, but after two exercises I decided that my wrists will be free all this week haha
This is my first time doing your workouts and l love this one. It targeted the major muscle groups in a coordinated fashion. Coming back for more!
Althought super difficult for me,using 10kg dumbells,yours lovely smile tells me...continue,do not stop!SUPER!

The two minute alternating swing finisher had me gulping air like a goldfish out of its tank! Love the way you have structured this workout around complexes. Makes it stand out from the mass of KB workouts on KZread and definitely a challenge! More of these please, when you are ready, Caroline!

Don't let these 'shorter' kettlebells workouts fool u! We're talking technique& correct posture with your kettlebell and certainly, if u are up for it, increase that weight on that kettlebell! This was a truly fantastic workout! Loved this mini series so far!

A snatch is much harder with a kettlebell than with a dumbell. Also, gloves will make this workout easier, otherwise, it's hurting the palms. Feel incredible energy after this workout!!

Yeah KB snatch is quite an advanced move, got to make sure you transition your grip properly or you can rip your hands right up!!
I forgot how deceptive kettlebells are...My legs feel like wooden pegs from the last two days! This series is phenominal - Who wouldn't want a total body workout in 30 minutes?! Thank you, Caroline!

Bit of a decision today DB re KB. So I decided to use the the 20kg KB on the leg specific sdction and the final swings and a 17.5kg DB on the overhead work as my 11kg would be too light. This worked incredible well, so for anyone reading this, this workout is really perfect for either. The final swing finisher was tough with the 20, made it to 1min 40 secs then swopped to the 17.5kg DB for the last few seconds. This mini series is fantastic.

Hi Anthony...well done!! Sounds like you've had a fantastic workout! I can only imagine what some of the moves must feel like with weights like that but I'm sure you smashed it! Yes...20 kg for 2 minutes at the end would have been killing! I agree about this mini series. I have learned a lot which is good! Always good to learn new things...without Caroline I probably would never have bothered getting a kettlebell and exercising with it! Caroline gets us to try new things and find that we enjoy them. I think Caroline is on the Chris Evans breakfast radio show tomorrow morning. I'm sure she will be very nervous from what I know of Caroline...but fantastic publicity. @@matthewalmond4688 Hi Matthew, there would be no way I could have Clean and Pressed the 20kg. I did manage the 20kg for clean and squat but my arm took a little bit of a battering. Good Luck for the jab, I'm on 01 April. Yea I saw someone posted about the interview I believe his wife is working out to Caroline. Great recognition. Brilliant day here, workout done, time to cut the grass and get my fruit trees tided up...the CV numbers are dropping and EPIC HEAT is on the way. Feel good factor is on the rise.

I did the same. Used a combo of my 25lb DB and 25lb KB. Worked out just fine because I knew my forearms would have taking a beating so opted out using the bell for some of the moves.

I love these intense, ~30 minute, no time wasted workouts! They are challenging and changing things up a little bit for me!!
Oh man, that was intense! Just crushed this in my free period, showered, ate and now going back to school🥲 your workouts are always highlight of the day, especially now that it's exam week here 💖

Caroline, I think this was one of my favorite workouts EVER!! LOVED the pacing and all of the power movements. I took out my 25 lb and 20 lb dumbbells but stuck with the 25 all the way through!! It’s officially been a year since I’ve stepped foot in a gym and I’ve never felt more fit and strong than I do now thanks to your programming.

Loved this today but had to swap my kettlebells for dumbells - as I kept hitting myself!! My shoulders were getting really bruised. 😂 I am a bit clumsy at the best of times. Please tell me I'm not alone! 🙄😂🏋️

yeah clean just takes a bit of practice. I think a lot of us start out with the bell swinging around and cracking forearms and shoulders. Try and keep it close to the body as if you are doing your zip up and as you change your grip at the top the bell will nicely wrap around your wrist. Like she shows you at the start.. It is a bit tricky but you will get there with practice!! nice one

Found Caroline this year and wow everytime I do her workouts I am so sore the next day! I did this one yesterday and omg my shoulders are sore... but in a good way. The progressive overload is the way to go. I like no repeat workouts but never get that same feeling.
Clean ,snatch, swing are all kettlebell basics ! The beginner should be very careful of those movements to avoid of injury.

Hi Jasmine...yes you are correct! I am a very experienced exerciser but not with a kettlebell...my first time doing these moves today! All OK...but I needed to concentrate ! Very useful advice! Matthew

Love loved loved this one Caroline! I will gladly take the bruises that I will have tomorrow on my fore wrists, just been gone too long from my kettle snatches. Got em tightened up now though thanks to you.

So, I was waiting for my ktb to arrive this morning but it did not (Vive la Poste, I guess). I decided to jump into day 3 with my dbs. I did normal curls. I also did the complementary. I have to say that now I love these shorter but intense workouts and I also enjoy having to do an extra 10, 15 or 20 mins if I feel I have enough energy left :) I used both my 5kg and 8 kg for dat 3 and only 5kg for complementary. Loved it! Enjoy, everyone!

Yes! Going to pick up my order of KB today, tried Day 1 with DB, was afraid that the DB might slip off my hand during swinging straight into my telly😉. Day 2 and Day 3 here I come soon. Thank you so much Caroline🙏🙏😘😘

I'm so happy you are doing a full week of follow along, different kettlebell workouts, as this is still a rarity on KZread. Personally I prefer them to dumbbells and got my hands on a small collection to train with but rarely use them due to lack of programming. So thanks so much for doing this ❤️
That was awesome!! And A LOT of fun!! My favorite kettlebell day yet! Loved all the steps to each combination..kept me focused for sure!! Absolutely loved alternating snatches..those were fun!!🤗 All the cleans and presses were great too...really like the rotational press as I really felt it in my core!! The 2 minute finisher..wow!..that was fun and tiring..that got my HR up but I kept swinging away. At the beginning of the swings my dumbbell grazed the ground, and the ground grabbed it and made me drop it..and jumped away from it like "ahhh don't get hurt!!"🙊🙉🙈 But then grabbed it and right back at it again!!🤣 Great session Caroline!! Really loving the series! Can't wait to see what is in store tomorrow! Have a great day everyone.

This was awesome!! Something about the complex moves of cleaning, squatting, pressing, and snatching just gets me fired up! I feel so strong, capable, and fit as a result of being able to do all of those. This was super enjoyable, I'm so grateful for you, Caroline!
