Draw a displacement time graph and velocity time graph of a ball released at height of 8m and bounces on the group 3 times and each rising half the previous height
Thank you 🙂
Sir veryyyy thank you . I don't know how much I facing problem with that .
sir,so the zero in velocity-time graph is just a turning point and not mean the object stopped when at zero? unless no line is drawn behind the zero in velocity-time graph?
❤️❤️❤️❤️💯
Awesome could have been more amazing if added a t graph in all cases , BTW Awesome.
best explaination by far! Can u do a vid on bouncing ball accelation time graph

Sir in 2nd graph how the slope is positive?? The slope is going towards the origin.. So how the slope is positive??
It is better to explain how slope is positive
Sir please clear my doubt. To get distance traveled we calculate the area under Velocity Time curve, which we usually do considering curve above X axis. But we could have compute the area under that curve with respect to Y axis. But why don't we do so? Please reply.
@MathematicsTutor
5 жыл бұрын
We could do either way. Why we don't normally do - x is treated as an independent variable. Time is independent variable by default. Velocity is defined as rate of change of distance with respect to time -- so that explains. Hope it helps.

hi,i have a question, for the fourth d-t graph,the object returned back to the original position twice(displacement=0m),but in the v-t graph,the velocity of the object is at zero when the d-t graph is in its minimum point(displacement is negative,but not zero),why is that so? And why the v-t graph was not drawn in a way that the the line touches the x-axis twice?(which means that velocity=0m/s)

Sir why the displacement and velocity time graph scatch are different from each other plz sir i have big confusion

I Like it, but isn't it "accelerating" , which is non-uniform/ not constant, if the line graph is Parabola?
@MathematicsTutor
6 жыл бұрын
at 6:12, The slope of a curve is constant; Curve is Velocity; Slope of this line is the acceleration. y = mx + b, m is a constant. Hope now you can see that the acceleration is constant for the parabola representing displacement. Thanks

HOW TO FIND SLOPE POSITIVE & NEGATIVE IN NATURE IN CASE OF LINE? pl explain
A special case where a body moving with constant velocity has constant acceleration. Is this true? My teacher said: It is true bcz acceleration=0 is also a constant quantity for acceleration and where a=0 velocity is constant But I don't get it....so plz explain...
@teresamariconda964
3 жыл бұрын
Maria hi because acceleration is change in velocity so if the body maintains a constant velocity of 0 then acceleration is 0 as there's no change in velocity so that is still constantly 0
Thanku sir
no curve is formed in any v-t graph?
@hirunisiriwardhane4361

why not when the velocity increasement(accelaration) increases with time we could get curves in v-t graphs too

Thanks, will make a video on this soon. displacement is change in position velocity is rate of change of position.
@carultch

Negative displacement means that the object is located in a direction from the starting point, that is opposite what we arbitrarily define as positive. Negative velocity means that the object is moving in a direction, that is opposite what we arbitrarily define as positive.
