My mum shows me her amazing recipe and techniques for cooking the best Pig's Trotter Vinegar/ Pork Leg Vinegar (猪脚醋).
INGREDIENT LIST

2kg Pig's Trotter 猪脚
300g Ginger 姜
200g Palm Sugar (Gula Melaka) 椰糖
750ml Chan Kong Thye
Black Sweet Rice Vinegar (DOUBLE)
狗仔唛双料添丁黑醋
375ml Cheong Chan
Black Vinegar
珍翔黑醋
2L Plain Water
白开水

    Trotter atau Pork Nuckles ,kena marinate dengan tepong ubi kayu 5.sidu camour garam 2 sudu, Soaking 20 minutes,cuci 2 kali baru mula memasak. Ok. Gd try!

    I prefer to eat abit sour then only nice, some people said cannot afd water? Only use vinegar true or not? Aunty Choon?

    I am from Penang. I only use 1 brand. 1 bottle and 1 bottle of water. Settled! Add ginger and pork trotter only :D Not sure Auntie heard before Swee On Woh Black Vinegar.

    Recipi bagus Top Chef.. Bahan yg kamu miss out.. Halia 200 gm kena goreng dengan Seasame oil 3 spoon, baru tutun di kuah Trotter, Cuja masam 320 ml campur Cuka manis 320 ml, Cuka hitam 5 sudu, Bawang putih 6 biji, Biji lada putih 3.sudu ,Air Filter 700 ml, Gula batu 40 gm, Chicken Stock 1 sudu ,Bunga rawang 2 kuntum ,Masa masak 1.15 hrs, ok gd job. !

    You can search for Chan Kong Thye Rice Vinegar on shopee, remember to get the pink label one for this recipe. Hope that helps

    其实,猪脚猪手都可以用。猪脚肉比较少,猪手肉比较多。
