Nonsense. Ungulates which have laminitis are not "cured" by trimming their feet. They have a systemic metabolic disease and it is most noticed in their front feet. They lie down because it is very painful to stand up. They try to take as much of their weight on their hind legs as possible: both fronts are involved and very painful.
