Yeah: the most retarded fact is that Pin Missile have *100% accuracy* and held items did not existed back then on Gen 1, so there was no way that Jynx could be holding something like Brightpowder to reduce the accuracy of my attacks. That was just one of the many HAX moment that characterizes this game.

Unless and I could be wrong..wasnt there a little bug(no pun intended) that every single move with 100% accuracy (barring swift which never misses) has a 1/256 chance of missing in gen 1? Unless it was fixed for the first stadium game

I was using alakazam, slowbro, starmie, raichu, Rhydon, and Charizard and couldn’t get it done. With this video/set up! One try tonight on the Pokémon stadium for the Switch! Almost didn’t use Jinx but she came in clutch on many occasions!

20+ years in the making I finished everything in Pokemon Stadium, except for the Poke Cup tournament on Master Ball difficulty, I even tried through the years to battle the Old Man every now and then after getting the game cube back in 2002, I tried many combinations, sometimes I would transfer Pokemons from my Gameboy Pokemon Yellow to N64 for this purpose.... and it worked today after copying exactly your team...I won after getting defeated couple of times and on my 2nd try I beat the old man to unlock the battle against Mewtwo....😅 thanks pal

Thinking about this game, I've seen a pokémon getting frozen right after a swap only once. That was way too hilarous because I was playing against a friend and he was like "Dude what???"

I can’t use the rental pokemon. It’s almost a luck factor at that point. I’ve had to redo this a dozen times.

@@johnrainsman6650 pokemon stadium was basically made to connect your game to the pokemon gameboy game from the generation they come from. So you could bring your pokemon from the actual gameboy games to battle in pokemon stadium. Rentals are basically pokemon they give you within pokemon stadium itself. Which usually have lower stats and crappy moves compared to what you could get from training your own pokemon in the gameboy games and importing them

Why use Kadabra instead of Alakazam?

Lower stats but higher damage output due to having a stronger STAB psychic type attack than Rental Alakazam.
