Ah, the ignorance of someone unaware that the physical and special split didn't exist in Gen 2, commenting toxicity just for the lolz. That's sad af :) Thanks you for engaging with the content, though.
Whichever dev created the Koga battle is a moron, confuse ray and double team and just make them struggle as much as possible even though koga will lose every time, such a lazy ass battle design

-I've never seen that animation of Venusaur before! -The Tamer sent out a bloody Metapod! That's insane and commendable in a way.
Yeah I laughed a lot while recording that battle. I saw Metapod on the team preview but i never expected it would actually show up in the battle. In regards to Venusaur... yeah that animation can only be seen on a few moves Venusaur learns, such as earthquake.
Zero clue as to how you got Snorlax to fall asleep. Any time I try the move fails. Even when Using Jynx's Lovely Kiss.
As any RNG-based game, luck plays a crucial role, which is why the AI on this game is notorious for its constant hax.
@@ChrisPTY507 Meanwhile you'll land the confusion status effect almost everytime you used Psybeam. Which I find hard to believe legitimately.
@@GundamDragonLord There's little I have to say without repeating myself on the fact that this kind of stuff can happen on any RNG-based game. RNG can make or break any move at any time.
I sthis the Nintendo Switch port? Because in the original a lot of pokemon are swapped or not on the team.

During the very last battle. Keep the same team and order. When he sends out Golem switch for Voltorb, he always switches to Dragonair. Use Thunderwave, Tank the Dragon Rage. Then use Explosion. That way you have a huge advantage switching in for Kadabra. While also keeping a full health Starmie.
That was a great battle, comrade. Besides Red, Cynthia is the trainer the most hard to battle than I knew. Congratulations, Champion and good continuation.

Psychic (semi-final battle) picking Farfetch'd over Alakazam was a choice. So was Old Man (final battle) picking Ditto over Mew

Access to spore against a slower pokemon is OP in this module :p
Yeah haha. But sadly, it is balanced by the fact that Pokémon tend to wake up on the very first turn they get put to sleep, which gets annoying after a while.

@@ChrisPTY507 same with Kabuto and Omanyte maybe because in the games they are at a higher level. Also they included Kingler that is evolved at level 28.
@@PaloJaurez Yeah this means the player will have to use the gen 1 glitch that allows you to get any pokemon at any level. There should be lots of info on other youtuve videos on how to exploit this glitch in RBY. You'd need to move those pokemon to pokemon stadiu using Transfer Pak, though..

Pinsir is REALLY good in this CUP, especially against the Gambler and the Lab Man. So is Exeggutor.

I managed to beat this CUP using a mix of this roster and another Poketuber roster. I used Gengar, Jynx, Articuno, Rhyhorn, Starmie and Jolteon (or Zapdos, don't remember right now)
Congrats! Yea Zapdos is a good choice over Jolteon. I did not used Zapdos because i wanted to show that you can beat any cup without using legendaries, and even better: with rentals
@@ChrisPTY507 Yeah. I used Legendaries only when I had a good strategy in mind. For example, in Prime Cup Master Ball R2, I used Articuno's agility and typing to counter the Gambler's OHKO team. I barely used Articuno in that CUP, BTW.

No, Stadium 1 is easier to do with rentals. Stadium 2 have more variety due to it having more pokemons available, tho.
Those Quick Claw activation from Piloswine were so BS. The opponent has such a good RNG.
Yea. The AI haxes a lot in this game.
To be honest, you were very lucky with the cpu's chosen pokemon, not be rude it just makes a lot of difference❤
Yeah i know,every match is luck based because the cpu can choose a random 3 pokemons among 6 in different orders, so basically anything can happen
@@ChrisPTY507 i am trying so hard for months now, but ' Fix ' keeps using explosion with Electrode. And his other pokemon outrun Nidoking. And i laugh and cry over how many critical hits i ate for the last months😂😂

I noticed that Parasect in that 6th battle kept spamming Leech Life. Was LL buffed to 80 power here like it is in modern games? That's the only reason I can see it using it so often-- unless Parasect just didn't have a complete movepool. Looked like it took decent chips out of Raichu. I noticed in your earlier uploads that the type chart had been updated too, so Bug isn't se against Poison anymore either.
Leech Life was not buffed in this ROM hack. Back in Gen 1, it was a very weak Bug-type attack. Yes, there were some type chart updates, like Fire now resisting Ice moves, but no updates to Leech Life's base power. Regarding Parasect only using Leech Life against Raichu, I guess the AI did not have any better moves to use other than Leech Life.
