Last battle was a gift. Pinsir is so bad in gen 1 that it can't do a thing against ghost type except using Seismic Toss

I got into a struggle match once with that dewgong with my vaporeon it was the most epic battle.

good luck!

I recommend using Jolteon as opposed to Snorlax. Because Jolteon knows Pin Missile, which helps against the rival's Psychic-types.

jolteon have negligible physical attack so a regular thunderbolt would deal far more damage, even if a psychic Pokémon have high special stats

Snorlax dont have stab with thunder, electric moves in 1st generation are all special, snorlax have a bad special stat, slowbro have high special stat, thunder dnt have 100acc rate, so many reason to dnt use thunder with snorlax

Gen 1 had not many dragons

Thats most likely Bind or Wrap. Try to use faster pokemon so you can move before those annoying pokemons. the idea is to prevent players from playing the game by using bind or wrap.
