Not a single Dragon type. He didn't even have Dragonite in round 1! This is literally the only game where he doesn't have Dragonite on his team!

@@PresMan36 Well, Dragon type in Gen I was really bad because the only Dragon type move was Dragon Rage, which was fixed at 40 damage no matter what. And the only Dragon type Pokemon were the Dratini line.

@@AiwaLover Maybe so, but the Round 2 teams are designed to be more type diverse to make them more challenging. Dragonite would be another Flying type on a team that already has Charizard and Gyrados.

Now that the Gym Leader Castle is cleared for probably forever, let me just say this: I FUCKING LOVE THE GYM LEADER MUSIC! I'VE ALWAYS ENJOY LISTENING TO IT! Sorry about that. Congrats on clearing Gym Leader Castle using rentals. It was awesome! Looking forward to the stadium videos. Also, it seems that Jynx is the best rental Pokemon in this game.

Been stuck while using the team from a speedrun guide, it's the only detailed written guide I could find but it might not be much help because speedrunnners aim for the fastest route not the easiest route and I've been getting walled by RNG a lot. This team already seems to be doing better or at least I'm getting further more consistently!

The only fact of using rentals is quite a rush, if I'm not wrong i think I've beat gym leader castle and my only headache is pika cup and the master balls of poke and prime cup. I'll wait the videos for some help, good job!

I used kadabra and gengar on the elite 4 for round 1 myself so long ago. Its why i like your videos. It reminds me of my childhood.

U were lucky rival didn't go for Exeggutor. On My first try, I had Golem at full health vs Slowbro at red health and Ninetales at full health. I tried to kill slowbro with dig, but Slowbro turned out to be Fastbro and I lost. 😅

The rental Gengar is terrible I mean it’s moves is terrible I mean only one attack move which is Thunderbolt which won’t hit to ground types 🤦🏿‍♂️

Thunder has an 80% accuracy and you hit everything

@@SamiNaldIsh There were times where I missed thunder 5 or even 6 times in a row. As I’ve said before, it’s not a very reliable attack.

Quería demostrar gameplay de este juego con y sin rentables. Además de que me sirve para variar el contenido. Personalmente usar Pokémon rentables have el juego más retador porque los rentables están mal hechos de forma adrede. Los rentables son malos a propósito porque la idea de este juego es usar tus propios Pokémon es del Game Boy.
