A Gym Leader Castle (Japanese: ジムリーダーのしろ Gym Leader Castle) is a location in the Pokemon Stadium series where players may battle the Gym Leaders (and their disciples) and the Elite Four of the Pokémon games of that Generation.
The Gym Leader Castle in Pokemon Stadium 2 was more complex. Instead of it being an actual castle, it featured differently-designed rooms for each of Johto's Gym Leaders, each one representing the leader's type in its design. Like its predecessor, players would need to defeat each of Johto's Gym Leaders in turn, now including an intervention by Team Rocket between the Olivine and Mahogany Gyms, and eventually making their way to the Elite Four and its Champion, Lance.
Upon his defeat, if all Pokemon on the player's team came from a Game Boy cartridge, one of them could re-learn a move that was available to be learned by level-up.
The Elite Four are four are Pokémon Trainers who are regarded as the toughest in their regional Pokémon League, short of the Pokémon League Champion. Those who challenge the Elite Four must have won all eight Badges from that region and face all four and the current Champion consecutively without losing to any of them.
After the defeat of Lance, mirroring the story progression in Gold, Silver, and Crystal, players may challenge a revamped version of the Kanto Gym Leader Castle. Though it has the same battle arenas as the first game, the design significantly differs: first, the eight badges of Kanto are on the sides of the castle's spires, and the eight are arranged closely together. Each Gym Leader has no disciples (players battle the leaders immediately) and they can be defeated in any order. After the defeat of Kanto's set of eight, Trainers unlock the chance to battle against Red, who, unlike his Game Boy counterpart, does not have a team that one would see in Pokémon Yellow. _____________________________________________

Do you understand how terrifying this Machamp would have been if it had No Guard and it was launching Fissures left and right. Fucking Fear.

It’d be degenerate and broken altogether. I’m glad Abilities were not a thing back in Gen 2
Yoo wobbuffet is an actual tank
I managed to defeat them with Voltorb, kadabra, Snorlax, Heracross, wobbuffet and misdreavus.

Yo con misdreavus, hitmonlee, skarmory, piloswine, aerodactyl, starmie (rentals)
Just like every other elite 4 and champion video, this is awesome! Great use of wobbuffet and Haunter's Destiny Bond. I do find it amusing how the elite 4 only have 2 Pokemon that utilize their specific types (two psychics from Will, two two poison from Koga, etc.). Koga and Karen looked to be the most annoying while Bruno (minus that scary fissure) went down pretty well. Again, awesome video! Looking forward to the Kanto Gym Leaders
I'm watching all these and looking forward to the rest, great work
I think I understand why Wobbuffet was banned. It can beat anything in a one on one battle

I’m glad you enjoyed!
A pun: When that Haunter took down Lance’s Dragonite with Destiny Bond, the fighting field became a ghost town (empty, no Pokemon remaining)!

The SKILL!
Lance's Dragonite in this matchup shared 3 moves with the Dragonite Orange Island champion Drake had in the series.
I completed this yesterday after a week full of attempts. My team was Slowbro, Haunter, Zapdos, Moltres, Murkrow, and Donphan.
Bruno's Machamp should have used fissure continuously.
Tas loco que eres de panama mostro, mis respetos

11:40 TERRIFYING FISSURE!
I recently bought stadium 2 and whoever had it before me had put a typhlosion lvl 100 with flamethrower dig cut and earthquake named super fast. He also added a mewtwo with all 3 elemental punches and hyper beam lvl 100. These two alone get me to the champion but then he wrecks them with tyranitar.
Counter missed??? What???
what's the 10/30 for?

Also how did you counter a shadow ball? Mirror coat is for special attacks and counter is for physical, bros hacking that’s sad af

Ah, the ignorance of someone unaware that the physical and special split didn't exist in Gen 2, commenting toxicity just for the lolz. That's sad af :) Thank you for engaging with the content, though.

@@ChrisPTY507 so wtf is the point in having counter and mirror coat if they both do the same shit then? Don’t their descriptions say counter is for physical damage and mirror is for special?

@@dopeimean23 Hahahaha oh wow... and you're still on it. You really are unaware. 🤣 Go and educate yourself about how the physical and special split worked before Gen 4 to avoid spewing nonsense and calling someone a cheater. Have a good day.
