I really really really wanted pointcrow to win. In his content, he often puts himself as the “loser”, but I was cheering for him this entire time. When he missed that checkmate, I was devastated, cuz I knew he would never recover from the blunders that followed. That said, Toast couldn’t have been a better match, and the fact that game was so even, going as far as going to the final chess round, made it all the more special. Toast did a fantastic job, and had such a strong resilience to PointCrow’s attacks, able to stay standing even after the brutal beating he got, he definitely deserved the win. It makes me disappointed that I didn't get to see Eric win, but I was satisfied. This was probably the best match of the night, especially after the Cherdleys vs. Myth match 💀

Yeah to be real toast did great surviving but he was very bad at the boxing part ngl. The punches lack impact and barely tickles Point crow. He isn't punching with his body so there's no weight attached to his punches and basically just stretching. POint crow on the other hand has better movement and strategy, His punches also packs weight. The problem is that he lacks control. Punching a lot doesn't = equate to a lot of damage when you're just hitting nothing and you're at that point wasting stamina.

This was such a good finisher. I thought it was going to be a bit underwhelming when PointCrow was winning both the chess and the boxing in the first rounds, but Toast somehow survived the attack and fought back admirably. And then PointCrow completely lost his head in the chess which really changed the dynamic of the match. And then leave it to Toast to pretty clinically finish it off with the only checkmate of the night! And seeing the emotions in his face in that final hug was pretty strong! He probably had the biggest emotional rollercoaster of the night from; the embarrassment of being worse in both the first rounds, to the elation of the queen blunder, and then the absolute relief of surviving the boxing and converting cleanly! GGs Toast! GGs PointCrow! Amazing end to an amazing night!

Yeah Chess Boxing was fun but in my opinion not the best sport to be combined. The SLAPCHESS THOUGH. I could 100% see that as a sport. You get proper interaction with great chess presence. not to much overpowering both sides instead compliments both sports. Chess + Boxing = Boxing overpowers the 2 of the sport and Chess just becomes basically a Resting point. which doesn't feel as balanced. Meanwhile Chess + Slapping = feels perfect.

I like them both and couldn't choose only one to root for. This was beautiful. Toast was the underdog and he got the comeback that was earned through blood, sweat and tears. They both put up a good show. Pointcrow, true to himself, could have won if only he saw those mates. If only he was a little bit luckier with the punches. But Toast proved himself in the ring and on the board. Simply beautiful.

I don't know why a lot of people are acting like it was completely one sided on the boxing side, maybe in the first round but for every other round it was pretty even for both of them and like Lud said I think it was the second boxing round? where Toast was the one who dominated. I don't know anything about boxing but even I can tell that 14:31 hurt Pointcrow. (edit: the video got cut on some parts for some reason so both the timestamps in this comment are wrong if anyone's wondering) Insane performance for both of them, mad respect. In my top 3 fights of the night, from the nutshots, bloody lip, the blunders, both of them tanking those hits, 23:04, and finally the comeback to checkmate. it felt like an anime fight.
