The only thing that he missed was how much his opponent stopped to look at the ref to stop the match. I'm sure that he had trouble noticing that while reeling from a punch to the face, but if Ididathing was more aggressive, I don't think the match would have lasted as long as it did. You could see ididathing begging the ref to let him stop pummeling theodd1out.

As someone who has also done a kickboxing amateur match and lost (shitty footage available on my channel), I congratulates you! So many people tell me they would absolutely win fights because they have spent so much time imagining themselves as action heroes. It's been said before, but all that goes out the window the first time you get hit.

As soon as you said "I did a thing" I flashed back to all the horror I experienced through his channel, the nightmare fuel that was the "can a vacuum cleaner pull out your eye" experiment...truly a difficult opponent.

In my first wrestling bout I was pinned in 11 seconds, it really put me down for a while but one of my closest friends stayed after practice for months to help me train and I placed at states this year. Having a partner is one of the most important things you could do for yourself.

Takes a LOT of courage to get into the ring, the whole show was one of the best content creator events i've ever seen and for a good cause too, can't wait for the next

Oh boy, he boxed for charity one time (which in and of itself is a good thing), really put himself through it like a trained actual fighter who fights all the time. Go to a boxing gym and see what the guys who actually do the sport go through. Years and years of training to develop the skills and the body for it, only to never make as much as some guy on the internet. Prizefighting is a fucking joke anymore, which is sad because the fighters are not. i'm a great fan of I did a thing and actually just watched the fight now for some reason, and yeah, he got you good lol but to be honest he's a buffed blacksmith, he has the power of the ancient arts of heavy metal with him lol and he actually boxed pretty well for his first fight. So no shame there, it takes guts to get on the ring so props to you too

Me watching this and it just reminding me about my grade 8 teacher who was a boxer, we spent a whole hour learning about boxing

At first I thought he was joking and that he just found some boxer that looked like him but boy was I wrong. Also the gym buddy thing is 1000% true. I’ve been working out since march with a buddy and it helped me to think that if I skipped then I was letting him down since I was his ride there. Motivation has gone down since he stopped going with me but it helps to know how high a hurdle you have to jump in order to be a better you.
