And we need deck balancing. Whichever mod said these decks were balanced were mad capping. Watched these live and had no doubts that it would be a Syk-Moist finals. They knew the game first and foremost and they had the most consistent decks. But even then, Syk had one card plays l, consistent searches, honest Neos hand trap, great boss monsters, and freaking Dark Law. Syk deserved the win, no question. Not taking that away from him. But it was served up to him on a silver platter. I just wished it was a more balanced tourney. And that the decks, since they're pre made, were properly vetted.

@acepalomino4718

@@casualpotato44 yeah but, you cant even compare goat format to these decks, or any other format really. Goat wouldve been better tho for sure imo due to the simplicity of the game. But what the comment im referring to has nothing to do with balanced decks. Im saying the players skill in the game itself and learning the deck as you go is overrall more entertaining then seeing comp decks go against each other with players who were either trained by actual players or even just getting that extra week to learn the deck. This is similar to draft format, just different in some cases.

@@TheSLashera Thats absolutely an issue at the highest edges of meta deck design(though it wavers, and plenty of matchs go fine without handtraps), but there's significantly more expansive design space to work with below that edge, compared to Year 1 YGO which was like, Summoned Skull Beatdown, Those Guys Trying Blue-Eyes Instead, and eventually Clown Control and Jinzo replacing Summoned Skull for its ability to invalidate Traps A lot of videos you see also are cherry-picked from matches that went to some extreme, rather than The Ladder Grind of just getting tired of seeing whatever budget meta has formed that doesn't win quick, its just frustrating
Dude. I would absolutely LOVE to see TheDuelLogs analyze some of these duels to see what strategies could have worked out better for the players 🤣🤣 and of COURSE Ludwig gets a former Tier 0 deck. Lmao.
the rp made this tournament so fun. hopefully they do another with more balanced decks that actually function
Toast's backstory literally had me laughing harder than ive ever laughed
I love the joy that they are having it’s pure as a pro player this is what we need much love
you should make this with yugitubers as coaches, kind of like pogchamps, would be really fun to watch!
Toast and Lily’s backstory was amazing 😂
Ludwig: 'no one is allowed to do a heart of the credit cards' Leslie: '*AUGh!*'
"How the turns table" will always be the best quote from Ludwig.
I like how Toast introduces himself like a true oldschool supervillain and then goes on to mess up his first move in fashion of a true oldschool supervillain.
I’ve never been so invested in a video where I have no idea wtfs going on. Lmao it was the commentary that made this great
Don’t know what the hell happened but I loved every second of it lmao Toast and SyKkuno made the video for me 😂
All this tournament did was validate all of my love for Elemental Heroes
As an elemental hero deck user myself, it was fantastic to see Sykkuno showing the elemental heroes some love✊️
Sykuno dead sounds like a voice actor from the yugioh series 😂❤️
This was so fun to watch. Yugioh nostalgia combined with the random craziness made me laugh through the whole clip.
This would've been so great with a yugituber as a commenter. Ludwig talking about zoodiac as if is not one the easiest deck to use while he plays it like shit was just 10/10
I love everyone just becoming the anime character that awakens upon playing Yugioh. When I first played, my character was "quiet and overdramatically scared and confused about everything".
As a seasone Yu-gi-oh player I thoroughly enjoyed this; y'all acting as characters from the actual show was the cherry on top lmao ♥
PLEASE do this again this video was sick
Would love to see more of this
Damn man, what an amazing tournament. It went from funny shenanigans at the start to damn intense at the end. Fantastic. Good stuff.
