Its my ultimate fave song of IU. 2nd song i heard when im starting to know her in 2019. First is through the night. At first im just curious why the title is knees. Then when she started singing i laugh at the first line coz how did she know im sitting and the only one awake in the middle of the night. Then next lines slowly hitting me hard and i only think was my late mother who died a year ago when i watched this in 2019. The pain was still fresh for me. Then the chorus comes i cant help but im starting to cry coz i have that kind of memories too with my mother lying in her knees while brushing my hair to make me sleep.. she really makes me cry so hard with this song. Like everything she writes hits me hard and missed my mother so much 😭

This is not a song I flock to since it draws my tears every time I listen to it.
