GGG, please remember: Lore doesn't matter at all, put all effort into gameplay systems because 99% of us skip every single letter of dialogue.

OK sorry for posting on the other video when you had some of it covered here. I'm slowly rewatching all of these lore videos getting ready for exilecon! I am still wondering how the trickster god taunting nenet comes into play. But it seems she may have her own desire to use corruption so no taunting needed. It's amazing how long they have been planning the PoE2 story ... and tying it into all these leagues we've been getting.

LOL @ Tasuni punchline. Noodle, you are really exceptional at this stuff. Considering how scattershot lore development is across the 3-month expansions, I think you are most adept at finding the perfect angles from which to weave your narratives. It's especially refreshing when I (and seemingly a number of others) are getting mechanically burnt out playing the game. Please keep it up. You have many, many fans!

Lets not forget that Sin, the creator of the beast, is husband to Garukhan and father to Shakari, two goddesses of the sands. The connection to the Maraketh and Faraduns seems like a strong link, and makes sense for them to be able to sense the beast so much, considering their origin, their proximity to the beast itself and the god that created it being so close to them.

As far as Nenet hearing voices is concerned, if I recall correctly, back in Heist this dialogue appeared only in/after Act 5, most likely relating to Delirium voice. I'm not completely sure though.

Today i watched this again, and i thought myself "Hmm, maybe the Contracts dont exist because if they would, we couldnt get there, mainly because Adiyah wont allow us to travel there simply to deny Nenets Plans or Wishes. She says she doesnt care bout the Faridun, but maybe she very well knows Jamanra and what could potentially happen if this Creature gets back to a Powerful State". Obviously a LongShot and 99.9% surely not the Idea of GGG, but an Intresting Thought nonetheless

The real question is: Why did they leave the quest in the game data?

I wonder what is the relation beween the deity that Oshabi praises, with the beast. Is the corruption, taking power from the earth and twisting it, thus, giving us virtue gems? Or is taking it from the darkness entity Niko fears so much? I m inclined to think it is the former.

This is very good content and I hope you continue to do it. The Lore & Theory content is very good. I want to see it in Korean too, so could you add Korean subtitles to other viedos ?

Do you think the Seed we see briefly during the character selection of PoE2 is the same one and it evolves over the course of the story? Or something else entirely?

Was thinking this too, the Iron Count has a line in poe2 act1 possibly implying that the seed is feasting on the powers of the first ones which might be how it evolves.

The whispers Nenet hears around you are clearly that of Delirium. On top of the timeline lining up perfectly, depression, paranoia, and hatred are what Tangmazu is periodically trying to stir within us with his lines. Also, Nenet doesn't seem to try to resurrect the King or imbue him with corruption, she assumes that has already happened, as it has with all the dead, and you just need to release him from his tomb.

I think Nenet is actually hearing the virtue gems, slowing corrupting you and those around it.

Since GGG executive started acquiring meeting best practices frequenting the guys at acti/bliz I'm more hyped than ever for the future of the PoE franchise. Not only they pick quality influencers, but on top of it their last patch update on PoE was a clear success. I've noticed a fair amount of hype on the forums, and honestly I can't agree more with the consensus.

@@Pshaurk OR they have a way of twisting you so that the good guys are now the antagonists, rather than the villains...look at Zana. She's not becoming evil; she's just recognizing that the exile is.

Jamonra/Nenet giving me Clarissa/Tolmen vibes with the potential quest that could have been. 100% agree with the idea that it was a fight just like some of the other unique contracts but it makes you realise how much content they cut out off Heist (Boss too :() so maybe it was general time constraints rather than them being worried about potential spoilers etc.

so they said poe1 and poe2 both end up in the map/atlas endgame...you probably can't switch from poe1 campaign to poe2 campaign and vice versa while you're in either one of them. however i see one complication with the current state of the game: you start getting heist contracts in act 6 which lets you enter the rogue harbor. will you be able to get contracts in poe2 campaign as well? how would the 20 year later timeline work then? will you enter the same harbor or a harbor 20 years in the future? personal gut feeling: i think jamanra is the redeyed big boi in the trailer. he looks like he's in a tomb and awakened/resurrected by the seed. i think the perennial king is the one who resurrects him and just wields the seeds power while on that quest. he's the clarissa in your analogy and jamanra is the tolman. ofcourse things go horribly wrong as usual and us exiles will be there to bonk things right again. i think they scrapped the heist jamanra story to make room for that in poe2. i also think jamanra is one of the heroes who sin mentions that became gods in the olden days but as he was poisoned by the maraketh he couldn't "wake up" when we destroyed the beast. but now the perennial king wants to settle the old score with the maraketh. (how the maraketh poisoned a god might seem like a mystery but we've killed a lot of gods ourselves and maybe they used a fancy quest item like chitus plum/decanter spirit of their time) but who knows.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i'm just speculating

Hey I really like your theories! That would be actually great if jamanra is the big guy with red eyes, and the perennial king is more like the wielder or arbiter of him. I like it a lot!

Always a great day when you publish one of those theory videos! Good catch with those Nenet contracts. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tasuni as a villain on the side of the Faridun in PoE2.

In the first trailer for poe2 near the beginning there is a man named the Iron Count who issues the execution of the exiles and can also be seen sitting next to something that could resemble the seed. What's also interesting about that seed is that it also looks very similar to the vile idols that the Perennial king spawns during his fight poe2 act2 walkthrough, and on top of that if you watch Zizaran's full uncut ranger gameplay of the first act of poe2 he makes it to the unfinished final act boss who has one line of dialogue and mentions the seed needing to feast, possibly on the power of the first ones. It makes me wonder if the seed we see in the first trailer with the Iron Count and the seed in the second trailer are the same. Maybe the story of poe2 is us following after the seed as it's moved around wreaclast collecting the power of the first ones/gods, (maybe thats how the initial seed planted by Sin operated) with the final act begin our final confrontation with the seed which at this point might have grown into the beast.

I expected a funny comment or tollerance at best what i got was instant removal of my comment regarding lore and the way PoE or any other ARPG is played in reality. Unsubbed and wont visit this channel again. Enjoy your stay while it lasts exile.

Please not again 4-5 act to do every league, one of the reasons why i stopped play PoE after 3 years
