I have a sport 2.0T with 10-speed auto. It trolls people at the drag strip, completely stock!

I've had 5 Hondas starting with a 1990 Accord, 94 Accord, 88 and 90 Rex si's, then a 07 Civic and the one Accord and civic I kept stock lasted an easy 200k before I had trans problems in the 90 Accord and I sold the Civic with zero problems at like 210k miles. Been a mechanic for 24 years and still still sticking with Honda

Hyundai seems to get their small displacement turbo engines right. I only believe it is because they have been doing them for years whereas Honda has a history with 2.0 liter and larger engines with turbos, so naturally when they released the 1.5t it was going to have problems. They will work it out eventually just like Hyundai/Kia did, but also just like Hyundai/Kia they will take 10 or more years to do so.

I just got the 1.5 6 months ago and was a little leary. It gets an average of 35mpg. I was shocked. And it's got good get up and go. The engine is noisy, ticky. Drives very well. Corners like a bmw. Just hoping it last. Hate lane departure btw.

Nothing like those 90's Hondas though. You still see a ton of them on the road along with the Corollas

2011 3.5 accord has ran excellent since I purchased it. Change the oil and spark plugs regularly, has 127 k on it and still runs great. All Honda products are the best, I have owned 2 Accords and 3 civics, 3 civics because of my 2 hour drive to work. Wrecked one and gave one to my son. Can't go wrong with a Honda.

My 96 Accord just gave out after 20+ years of service. Well above 500k and still ran like a champ, they really are reliable cars if you keep up with the maintenance.

Scotty, I own the exact same car. It's a 2019 2.0T with 80K on the clock. Not a single issue with the car whatsoever. The only thing that I have done is oil changes every 6K and I had the transmission fluid changed at 60K with genuine Honda fluid. I also own a 2004 Mach1 and may I say that the Mach1 is faster, this 2.0T gives it a run for the money! It's a very reliable car. I did have the option of buying it without the low profile tires and I took it. It still has the original tires with plenty of tread left.

I just bought a beautiful 2012 Accord V6 manual coupe. It's rated 17 city, 25 highway but I got over 26.5 mpg at 85 mph on a 1200 mile trip. I love that 3.5 V6! It's smooth, torquey, and quiet.
