Thanks for the tip about the shape and size of pins you use. I especially love how you mixed your climbing plants on the pole; moss poles really improves the growth of a lot of plants. Manjulas size up really well when climbing. I put my shingling plants on cedar planks, they love the flat bumpy surface. Love your videos 😊

Thank you so much! I’ve got some other shinglers on planks and they’re gorgeous but I recently saw some unknown shingling plants (perhaps a smilax sp.) growing on a moss covered tree trunk and was blown away by the look!

@@rockyfern I need to try that. I live in Santa Barbara at the beach and after the storm we have lovely driftwood. I grow my Caudex plants up driftwood, maybe I will try crazy vining Hoyas on driftwood too.😎🙂
