Just made this cake and oh my, bliss your 🙌, Came out really beautiful and tasty!!! I always make baklava and in my recipe I add rose water, so to bring that taste, instead of vanilla I added rose water to the butter cream. Thank you so much for this recipe

Hi tatyana, i must say that I made your cake and it was ment with the idea to be my wedding cake. It was so delicious definitely my mother in law approved. The only negative thing that I have to say it was that my husband said it was a little dry but I can fix it easily ❤❤❤❤

Hi Anna! I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed the cake! :) It's a great option for a wedding! If the cake turned out a little dry, try baking it for a few minutes less. Over baking can sometimes dry out the cake. Enjoy!

I'm so glad you love my recipes! :) Yes, you can replace the honey with maple syrup or agave syrup. You can even use regular sugar.

It's one of my favorites! This recipe makes quite a bit of batter so you will still need to split the recipe in half for a 9x13-inch cake, otherwise the batter won't bake evenly.

I used wildflower honey for this cake. Just about any type would work, as long as it's not too strong in flavor, like buckwheat honey. Enjoy!

From my experience, when I made Tatyanas Green Tea cake, I refrigerated cake for a few hours before guests came, and served it right after refrigerator. It was my big mistake, cause the butter cream - it is a lot of butter, and it feels like you eat butter, which I didn't like.I recommend to remove it from the fridge like 1 hour before your party, then it will be softer...

Yes! Definitely allow the cake to soften first before serving it. I like to take mine out at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours before serving. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that! The key to a less greasy frosting is whisking the butter. It needs to be extra light, fluffy and white in color before you add in anything else. This step can take 7 to 10 minutes. This makes a huge difference and helps keep your frosting fluffy instead of greasy. Hope you still enjoyed the cake!
