Your crochet hat is adorable. You son looks cute in everything! I liked making toys in crochet. A monkey doll was what my sister and I crocheted when we were young. We didn’t have a pattern, just made the body and head separate. Then we made legs and arms. The rest was just crocheted on to look funny. They were silly, but we lov😂d them.

Thank you!! He always looks so cute in handmade clothing🥰 I do really want to get into making toys, both with knitting and crocheting! Handmade toys are so cute, and the perfect little gift❤️

I'm the exact opposite when it comes to having active projects, I just have too many, and keep adding more 🥲You've been really inspiring me to finish some though!~ I've been trying to finish off the things that are almost done and work at the bigger projects! It's also so lovely to see you do some crochet as well, the hat came out so cute 🥰 For weaving ends in with crochet, I always weave the yarn in by splitting through the "back bumps" of the stitches, similarly to how I weave in ends with knitting as well (hope that helps, if you're even looking for help with the weaving in of ends haha).

I keep adding more and more too, but sometimes i manage to stop myself and focus on finishing my projects instead of adding new ones😅 It's been so lovely to dip my toe back in when it comes to crochet, I'm excited to explore and learn more about the craft🤩 Thanks for the tip for weaving in ends❤️

And highly recommend a granny square blanket or just rows of granny stitch… fun and easy!

Hi. I’ve been watching your channel for ages but am only just starting to subscribe to things and you’re one of my top picks! Love following your knitting journey and life. I have many, many WIPs as I get bored easily and like the variety. Finishing things is a problem though 😂

Hi! Thank you so much❤️ I totally get your problem. If it wasn't for all of my deadlines, I'd end up with an endless amount of WIPs😅

The KFO camisole looks very good on you! Perhaps wearing a thin short sleeve t-shirt under it could be a cute look, or a blue camisole? You could also sew in a piece of (stretchy) lace in between the chest pieces to have more coverage. As it is it is also a beautiful date-night top ;)

Thank you!! I'm going to try to wear it a few diffrent ways to see if I can find good ways to use it!! I do think it looks really good as it is, but it's not a very practical top when chasing a toddler😅 But I've come to the realization that I'm allowed to have some pieces that are rather unpractical and only used for special occasions🥰

I think your top is cute and fits you good. You could probably find a camisole bra to wear under it. That is what I do with low cut shirts.

For crochet I just move the yarn forward and crochet part of the stitch then move the yarn to the back and repeat to get rid of the end… and some crocheting over it … there are videos and then no weaving!

The Yoko top looks fantastic! But I also wouldn't feel comfortable with a super revealing top unless for a fancy event. And lets be honest - there are basically zero fancy events in my life 😂 But do not frog it!! It's way too gorgeous for that! (And you said you didn't like knitting with this yarn so what are you going to do with it?) I would keep it for those rare occasions. Or, could you try to crochet on a cute little border that gives you more coverage? Or wear a nice looking bralette with a scoop-neck underneath?

Thank you! I knit the top right before becoming a mother, not thinking about the fact that that might change the way I would like to dress😅 oh well, you live, and you learn! I don't think I'll frog it, it is too beautiful, and I really didn't like working with the yarn. I am allowed to have tops that are not the most practical or most used🥰 I've gotten a lot of good suggestions to try out when wearing it which I'll try, and if nothing works I'll save it for special occasions❤️

Definitely justified in getting that neon yarn! Like me, you aren't attending festivals every few weeks. I also always buy something when I'm holiday so that I have a knitted souvenir later on and know exactly where it came from

Yes, I feel like getting yarn when on holiday/yarn festival makes that yarn so special! I'll always look at that yarn and remember the yarn festival❤️ Thanks for the tip for the top! I'll have to try out a few different ways of wearing it! But first: blocking😅🥰

  • @susanbossung9098

I’d first block it. You might wear a tube top under it which would be similar to a modestly panel. It is beautiful. Keep it for sure.

I definitely need to block it! I'm going to keep it!! I've gotten a lot of great tips here for how to fix it or ways to wear it, and I've come to the realization that I can own unpractical items of clothing if they bring me joy❤️

I have a suggestion...you could "pimp" it whith a small broche or something similar, to keep it from being uncomfortably lowcut....I usually do this myself 👍

just as idea how to wear blue top more comfortably - i saw some pictures on which tops with low cuts are worn on t-shirts (often white) and it looks pretty interesting. personally i didn't try this way of wearing a top, but sharing this option with you - probably this may help!

Hi you could knit a modestry panel of the same pattern and yarn. To be detactabke or not. You could also put in like the bra extenders on the straps so you could adjust up or down as needs be and if the straps stretch. I hope that I explained myself OK. Sam x

The top is fabulous! It needs to be blocked. The blocking will give you more length and coverage. It's a special piece. You have so many functional pieces in the wardrobe; you deserve something special that gets used occasionally! KEEP IT!

It looks stunning on you. Keep it and enjoy it because you rock it! You have lots of years to wear the super modest tops as you get older. (Speaking as an older person who looks back nostalgicly at the more glamorous outfits of my younger years!)
