Loved the podcast. I am now knitting the Ankers summer shirt in Drops belle and just recently finished the Emmanuel tee. I think I will knit the Crescendo top by Knit purl girl next.

You are always so ambitious with your plans!! Love it! Couple of thoughts. When making The Naked Tee, if you find you are running out of yarn, make short sleeves. Also, if you turn the camisole into a dress, use that lovely bright yarn. It would look terrific as a summer dress!! ❤❤

I find it hard not to be overly ambitious with my knitting😅 Thank you for your suggestions! I need to go some swatches to figure out what project suits my newest yarn the best. I can't wait❤️ I think whatever it ends up being is going to be fantastic!

I think I would group these by camis, tees, sweaters and then when I’m ready to start something new, I would make whichever one was most appealing of the garment type I want most. To solve some of your dilemmas, I suggest you focus on what draws you most, make that, then regroup again with what excites you most. There’s no need to plan so many garments in advance-by the time you get a few done, you might want something different. Great plans!!! Can’t wait to see your knits!! ❤

Great plans! And very ambitious! I have a really hard time making decisions myself because I want to knit so many things. So I am no help lol. But for your two blouses No.1 I think the blue/turquoise would look absolutely stunning on you so I would start with that.

Very inspirational, thank you! I’m working on the Ppoppo Jacket by Aegyo knits, as soon as I saw it I knew it needed to be my first summer project! I will love to make the square neck camisole you mentioned. Last summer I made camisole no.5 by my favorite things knitwear and sadly it didn’t work out for me, so I’ve been looking for a pattern with a better shape to repurpose that yarn!

There is a beautiful spring green yarn just over your right shoulder in this video that might be good for the Moon Set Tee. Very nice fall garment.

Wow! So many fun summer knit projects. I'm waiting for the Line Cardi pattern to be released. It's by Maria from Stitched in Sweden. She has a great KZread channel called Stitched in Sweden. Her last episode shows the cardigan and she's also knitting it in kid's sizes. Maybe that could be an option when it comes out. It's probable almost done being test knit and even though she's about to have another baby very soon. I have a feeling that won't stop her from releasing it soon, as it is a summer cardigan. My last 2 projects have been with drops cotton merino, and you're right it's SO SOFT!! It's my favorite summer yarn out of all of the ones I've tried so far for sure! I have been thinking about making the Levitate wrap with air as a summer cardigan because it's not that hot in summer here either, but I'm trying to manifest summer with my plans haha🙈

Hi Oline! A lovely inspiring collection of summer knits. I would be really eager to hear what you think of the Drops Cotton Merino yarn (that beautiful blue will look gorgeous on you). I don’t have a lot of summer knits planned right now, although I like Rebecca Clow’s Tolsta Tee and many of Ozetta’s patterns. I do want to try out the Drops Cotton Merino and also maybe splurge on Knitting for Olive Pure Silk. I also love that peachy orange yarn you got at the yarn festival, and when you were talking about what to do if you had any of that yarn left over after another project I was struck with the thought of how beautiful the Twist Loop Top would look in that color. If you are having trouble deciding which project or which yarn you should cast on first, maybe ask your son! Since he loves your yarn and knitting so much I’m sure he would have an opinion🙂❤. Hi! Thank you! I've not been able to knit a lot with cotton merino yet, but so far, I am absolutely LOVING it! It's so soft and works up great, and the stitch definition is lovely. It's definitely a summer yarn I'm going to use a lot more! I like your summer knitting plans, not having to strict plans is really nice sometimes! A twist loop top made with the new bright yarn would look so cool! I hope I have enough yarn for that! I think I'll ask my son, he has loads of options about everything lately, haha😅 Have a good week!

I've been struggling a bit with knitting mojo myself. For me, it usually helps to go through my stash and get excited about all my planned projects🤩

Lace yarn cardigans were popular some years ago - Wispy and Featherweight by Hannah Fettig or Hitofude by Hiroku Fukatsu are all very nice and actually quite quick knits; I think I did them on 3.5 mm needles. Your lace yarn is stunning - a simple lace pattern woukd look good, I think!! My summer knit is Xyris in Pascuali Nepal, a top with lace at the back by Yarnflakes. I‘m just about to start 😊 After that I will see…

I am totally with you on having a ton of knitting plans for the summer🙈 Have you considered making the camisole no 7 (dress) with decreases and increased anlong the body, so that you can have it fit bodycorn? So starting of by knitting it to fit your bust, then perhaps decrease to the waist and increase to fit your hips? 😄❤

My list of what I want to knit grows much faster than I'm able to knit things up😅 I've not thought about doing it as a bodicon dress before, I think something in ribbing would look better as a bodycon dress then something in broken rib?

I have been looking for a good summer cardigan pattern for so long! Something without mohair! Yes! I live in an extremely hot country but have a hard time with the air-conditioned trains and office. I need something that will be warm enough without becoming boiling when I step outside. I may end up making the champagne cardigan using Cascade Contana to see if that will be good for me. I have no idea what to do!

I've been looking for a while, too! But it's much harder to find summer cardigans than winter cardigans, especially if you want one without mohair🥵 I think making the Champagne Cardigan in yarn that's good for summer might be a good idea! I've seen multiple cropped versions of the Champagne Cardigan too, that might be nice for summer?

That naked tee is 32 st gauge so maybe you should use the neon orange yarn for that pattern

Oeffff I really don't think the one skien is enough for the Naked Tee 🙈 have you thought about using the orange yarn (held double) for the Naked Tee? I think that would look soooo nice! About what to knit first, I would start with something without sleeves, because that is something you can only wear in the summer (without layering). But I would also start the Naked Tee because that one is a beast to knit I believe 😅

The more I've thought about it, the more sure I am that one skein won't be enough😅🫠 The orange yarn might be a good fit for the tee if their not too thin? Yes, I think the camisoles take priority! And they will be nice to work on in the warm weather too!
