For all the natural 'funniness' that he oozes, I'll bet he actually rehearses the living daylights out of his show (to the point that he's sick of it) to be that good!

One heard, you can't unhear! I'm driving down the M1 one Sunday evening in December and 'We Are Family' was played on the radio and I immediately sang out the immortal words, 'Just let me staple the vicar'! Couldn't help myself. My wife asked what I was singing and laughing for. I told her and now we both sing it if we hear it!
Peter, thank you for all the laughter to give my life, I live on my own and I’m 87 years old but often giggle away to your wonderful comedy.

This is one naturally incredibly funny man with the gift of being able to deliver his comedy absolutely perfectly. Every look, movement, line is just superb.
(USA) I've seen the Two Ronnies, but this was my first experience of Peter Kay. Great.
One of, if not the funniest man in comedy.. He just appeals to such a wide audience and I love him. He truly does bring us all together and makes us all laugh.
My husband has been hard of hearing since Vietnam. He has 2 Cochlear Implants now - Thanks to the VA. He had some funny things that he believed a Singer or Singers were singing - our favorite was ‘340’ - that was for ‘Free Falling’ by Tom Petty!!!! We laugh about it still and sing it when it comes on. Stevie Nicks sang it at her Concert she did here in Utah last year. 😂😂😂😂🫶🏻💙🫶🏻💜🫶🏻🌈🫶🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻 God Bless all of Our Veterans this Memorial Day Weekend. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
one of those moments of pure comic genius in the whole performance - I'll watch it forever...

What I love about Peter Kay the most is that he keeps politics out of his act and allows the audience to enjoy a night of pure entertainment without being wound up. A national treasure.
@johnjordan1948

If your wound up by a comedian being political then your pretty thin skinned. Nothing wrong with doing comedy that isn't political, what's funny is funny. But I'm pro life, if I hear a comedian making a pro choice joke, and it's funny, then I laugh. If you can't laugh at things you disagree with when they are funny then your the problem, not the comedian being political.

It reminds me of the time we had my four year old daughter in the back of the car and aJames Blunt CD was on. He was singing 'She's beautiful'. Me and her mom knew that the lyrics were different on the CD version to the radio version , so when it came to the bit where he sings 'You could tell by her eyes she was flying high ' we sang loudly to drown it out. Cue daughter to say 'He doesn't say 'flying' he says 'fucking high'.

Ronnie Corbet is a legend. I saw him as a teenager in the mid 70's , my face hurt from laughing when I left the theatre. Best joke (and I wont do it justice) was 10 minutes in a fake phonebooth on stage asking to talk to someone in charge at Interpol. At the end he asked for two bunches of flowers (interflora). You probably had to be there.
