In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

We are all connected. Social media doesn't connect people - it allows us to experience the connection that already exists. This fundamentally alters how to see others. I love the acknowledgement that Dave has this platform because of the many people who feel a connection with the message Dave is sharing. Nice. This brings up a great point. Rather than wanting to get famous for an opinion or point of view, look to connect with the underlying humanity, and be a voice for what already exists. Resonate with the connection we already have. Perhaps that is a great way to connect and make a difference in the world.

I Liked your remark about how one's brand or platform rests upon the stories of other people. Cool ! Especially neat that you admit that it wasn't you, but a whole group of people who contributed to make your brand. You are grateful - and THAT counts for quite a lot ! {And that bit about yr grandmother touched my ♥ heart } Keep these neat videos coming - I appreciate your low-key style (you're not braggadocious or Loud, as many are). Thank you.

Excellent video. Gives me lots of great ideas! Oh! And I was hoping you'd write a song about "TSA cuts the heads of skinned hand drums!" Happened to me last year.

I should have made a song on social media about the British Airways when they lost my luggage and they did not compensate or being held accountable. I DON'T FLY BRITISH AIRWAYS, SINCE THEN.
