Blythe Baird gives an incredible performance at TEDxMinneapolisWomen in 2017. Blythe Baird is a 21-year-old spoken word poet, author, and college student. In 2016, she was a finalist for the Global Young Achiever Award. Her viral work has been featured by Mic, The Huffington Post, EverydayFeminism, Ashton Kutcher, Bustle, Write Bloody, Button Poetry, and more. Her first book GIVE ME A GOD I CAN RELATE TO is out and available now. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.     just bought her book recently and i can hear her voice in my head when reading the poems. if that make sense. never get tired of her poems

    Her tone completely changes when she speaks in poetry, it's incredible. She's so beautiful and talented but most of all powerful and you can just feel her confidence when she speaks. It's absolutely amazing to watch. She deserves more attention!

    she is my hero, everytime i watch her i am inspired to start writing again. To express something as meaningful and powerful as her because we share the same rage, the same trauma. Shes incredible

    maybe because thigh gaps have less to do with weight and more to do with the positioning of someones hips
