I saw one of those at a swap meet a few months ago. I got the Maple Sausage and Pork Rib variants instead, but now I wish I had snagged all of them. Can't fathom why people wouldn't like this one.

Cheese spread never gets wasted. When it's over 10 years the taste does get a bit sharper so I just call it Cheddar Old and at about 5 years Cheddar Medium. Haven't come across any that have reached Blue Cleese yet. Lol

I always put the coffee in the canteen cup and the beverage powder in the canteen. I never mix the powder in the pouch. I also put the mains in the heating pouch with the heating element. It gets the temperature up to 120f but it could also be the old heating element that's not as effective. But overall entertaining review. The hiss on the crackers was awesome!

Hey! Where is the cornbread stuffing? I've had this menu multiple times from several different years and packaging companies and it always came with cornbread stuffing. The first time I though this menu was delicious! It was almost on my top favorites list. The next time I didn't like it at all. Didn't even eat the whole thing. Then the third time I thought it was really good again. Don't know if there is a significant difference between manufacturers or the production date, but this menu seems to be quite random in quality. Also I love the vegetable crackers. A lot of people think they are gross. They taste like wheat thins. I would take vegetable crackers over regular crackers or wheat snack bread any day. The very rare Italian bread sticks are my favorite though. The humanitarian daily ration (HDR) always comes with vegetable crackers, which is a nice treat whenever I eat one of those meals. Anyway, great video. You gave it an honest and sincere review and I agree with your conclusions.

When one is in the field it is good to like MREs others don't. You let them sit in the box for a while, while you jostle for the one's everyone likes. Don't let anyone know you like 'em.

Worst for me is the Creamy Spinach Fettuccine, and I like both spinach and fettuccine, but not together! The Beef in Jamaica Sauce was pretty disgusting too. 😝

Feta is kinda like blue cheese . You either really like it , or you dont .

Unfortunately I can't help you with the pronunciation just know I can say it. 😂

I like that ration. It's not as bad as some of the others? The Vegetarians rations are the one's I don't care for?

The old veggie burger was decent enough, the sauce really set it off! Plus the sides were pretty good for the time.
