here's the difference between head voice and falsetto: While falsetto and head voice have been used to mean the same thing, falsetto is understood to be a breathy version of high notes and head voice produces a richer and more balanced tone on the high pitches in a singer’s voice. Falsetto and head voice are two different modes for singing the same notes in the upper registers of the voice.

This was in early 2018; no pandemic yet. It's one of the songs in Top Pop Vol 1 which they had to produce for the summer 2018 tour (remember they had to "throw away" all the originals they had so far as a result of Avi's leaving). It's also one of the first MVs with Matt right after he joined in.

Great reaction to this fun Pentatonix video. Thank you. It was an awesome arrangement for the song and it was executed beautifully. Yes, the song is available to stream on most services, Spotify, Apple, etc. It's also available to purchase on iTunes and other places where people buy music. It would be a wonderful addition to any playlist.

Don't know if anyone else commented on this, but falsetto is a term reserviced for guys when they flip to the upper register. Women don't have a falsetto. When we talk about girls, they use their head voice. Both have a chest voice. Source: I'm the dad of a music theater girl who goes to the University of Cincinatti.

When Scott Hoying climed up to the stratosfer, i suspect he used a bit of falsetto and mix register (poeple colled it twang). This was Matt Sallee's 2nd recording after joining PTX. At Havana, he seemed to test the water, keep the bass in orderly manner, but here, he became the new type of bass, swift like Porsche giving a refresh drive. Of course Avi Kaplan (former bass) had a deeper range, but both of them are good in their own flavours.

Regarding head voice V. falsetto, falsetto gives a lighter, breathier sound with no trace of chest voice. Head voice explanations vary, but to my ear there is some chest connection there.

Hello Saeed! Happy Anniversary to you and your wife, and hoping your daughter and everyone in your family are all feeling much better now. This is such a great cover by PTX - the arrangement, the vocals, the vocalizations, the beat boxing from Kevin and the bass from Matt. Scott singing, Kirstie singing and Mitch coming in after the bridge is just so clear and clean. Agree with you that the beat and the cadence really make this song and you have to really applaud that this is A Capella. There is a great live interview with PTX and New York Times, where they sing a few songs, including this one, and they also answer questions from the audience. I heard the PTX version before the Charlie Puth original, and img this was such an upgrade. The original is boring by comparison, imo.
