Kirstin appeared on Broadway (a childhood dream of hers) for several months in 2018 in the show Kinky Boots. In fact, the reason the PTX mashup of New Rules x Are You That Somebody was shot in a penthouse in New York was because she couldn't break away from the show to film the video, so the rest of the group went out to NYC to film it with her!

This is one of my PTX favs. It's catchy, upbeat and unusual . . and . . they all get to shine

as far as I know, Kirsten was in Kinky Boots, The whole group appeared in one of the Pitch Perfect movies, the whole group collabed with Todrick Hall on on The Wizard video, and some of the members acted in an episode of the show, Bones,.

As far as acting goes, Kirstin, Mitch and Scott were featured in an episode of the TV show Bones. Pentatonix also has a major part in a Netflix holiday movie that comes out this autumn. They also were in an Eddie Murphy Christmas movie last year.

Mitch, Scott and Kirstin did act in musicals growing up and Kirstie had a stint on Broadway after the sing off in Kinky Boots. I'm not sure which songs you've done, but Matt had parts in Kiss From A Rose and Oh Holy Night that they released last fall. You want to watch the Vevo Live Versions.

Matt also acted in musical theater as a kid. Oddly, Matt had the lead in a play that Kirstin and Mitch were also in years before and thousands of miles away.

this is one of my absolute favorites from them! Such a wonky and quirky song. Taking references from Alice In Wonderland's Through The Looking Glass, Jabberwocky, and a few others

This is great to listen to in the car on your commute. Love this one!

They have contributed to several soundtracks including, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Ghost Busters,” “The Grinch,” “Uglydolls.” “The Stars,” “Daddy’s Home 2,” and “Pitch Perfect 2” in which they made a cameo appearance. Mitch, Scott, and Kirstin all had acting and singing roles on an episode of Bones that was about an acapella group member being murdered, the episode also featured a Pentatonix original song “Light In The Hallway.” Last year the band had voice-over, singing, and brief live action roles in “Candy Cane Lane.” They filmed a romantic comedy for Netflix, due to be released this year, called “Meet Me Next Christmas” centered on a woman trying to get tickets to a sold out PTX concert. They have done Pentatonix TV Christmas specials (3, I think) and appeared at least twice on “Sesame Street.” They appeared on season 3 of “The Sing Off” as you know, as well as their appearance on “Masked Singer” last year. They also appeared as guests on season 4 of “The Sing Off,” and “The Voice.” Scott, Kirstin, Kevin and Mitch appeared on “Lip Sync Battle,” and the whole band did an episode of “Family Feud.” Many years ago they did an episode of “KC Undercover.” They have also done several tribute performances, including “Star Wars,” Tom Hanks, The Bee Gees, The Beach Boys, and at least three others I can’t think of, plus a ton of other TV appearances I can’t keep track of, lol. And of course Kirstin did her Broadway stint in “Kinky Boots.”

Kirsten Was actually on Broadway in "kinky boots". I don't know for how long of a run. Mitch, Scott, and Kirsten Were also in an episode of Bones which was highly entertaining.

Matt is the baby of the group and as he's matured so has his bass range, and great as he is now it is still improving . Avi's voice is insanely good , but I think Matt has a greater and wider vocal style . Such a cool song. Really has show or Disney vibes. Most of them have musical theater experience and it shows in this video. It is so different from the original it might as well be their original. In my opinion it might be their largest upgrade in comparison to the original. They are just a magical musical box of chocolates. You are not wrong about them being Power Ranger like. Scott tried out for American Idol twice and did not make it. Kirstin may have tried out also. For what ever reason they had to have each other to be their most successful. Lucky Us! Saw a commenter say once..... Wardrobe: What color scheme would you like? PTX: YES

Hello Saeed! So so happy you did this one. This is such a great PTX upgrade - the arrangement, great beat, full of fun, the solos, the harmonies, the vocalizations, the beat boxing, the beautiful colours and they are all so impeccably dressed. A Capella at is very best. Was that a Mitch slap there? Or two? For acting - The Trio (Mitch, Kirstie and Scott) did an episode of Bones. Link here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hH2e29ypiJWrgpc.html. Kirstie played on Broadway.
