Pegasus Hobbies Gothic City Kit (Making the Most of...)

Ойындар

In this video I show you the Gothic City scenery kit form Pegasus Hobbies and show how I have used the kit to make it even more modular, customisable and flexible as a fantastic ruins kit for terrain for most of the wargames we play such as 40k, warhammer, Frostgrave and more.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all.
This also doubles up as my Nick's New Year Painting Challenge project,

    When Mordhiem came out I bought two boxed starters for the terrain. The game was sort of being billed as the Wsrhammer fantasy version of Necromunda. The original Necromunda had some of what I feel is the best modular terrain ever made. To this day I can really think of none better. So seeing the plastic and cardstock buildings of Mordhiem I had high hopes. Which when right down the crapper. The terrain is nice, it's useable, but it is nowhere near as modular or useful as Necromunda terrain. Seeing this video, this is the modular terrain that we should have got with Mordhiem. And by that I mean the set you are using with the addition of your modifications and add ons. Cool stuff, I need to look into this a bit. Thank you for sharing with us.

    Fantastic job mate, I had so much fun with the Citadel kits making all the different building shapes, same sort of things you did with that one where you can really immerse yourself into how the building would be battle damaged :D

    Try Hobbylinc, they have all the sets in stock and at a really decent price. Shipment can be really costly if you live outside america tho... The website can be messy, just search "Pegasus", then click plastic models, then buildings.

    Thank you for showing me the possibilities. Never would've thought doing this myself. If someone is looking for these sets in the GTA, meeplemart has them. I think WoodForSheep.ca can order some as well.

    What thickness for the polystyrene for the floor works best?

  • @kiblams

    @kiblams

    7 жыл бұрын

    I use a thin sheet of 0.25mm to form the shape of the floor and to go between the wall levels, then I add the details with thicker 1mm details to give them structure.

    +bassboyjon the popularity of Frostgrave did make them hard I find at a reasonable price, and I've heard they do runs of them each year so they become available for a short time. I got mine on Amazon at the right time I think.
