Review of Pegasus Hobbies Gothic City Buildings
Ойындар
A review of two of the City Gothic Building sets made by Pegasus Hobbies. These are really nice, easy to assemble sets that are about $30 each.
I'm going to mainly be using them for Warhammer 40K and a Victorian miniature game I'm working on. They would also work well for Necromunda and Malifaux. I'm probably going to model them partially assembled so they can be broken down for storage, either by flat walls or perhaps building subsections.
I may also try making some imperial buildings, then covering them with geiger-esque features as if Tyranids have been modifying them. Not that Tyranids bear /any/ similarities to another alien IP ....
I will certainly be getting more of them.

"in the grim darkness of the far future there is only gothic terrain." Best quote ever from a terrain review.
Thank you for the thorough review of this product
This is a very good review. I built one of these for my store, Monster Hobbies, a few years back, but never finished it. Now that we are doing 40K again, i will re-consider painting it. the only thing...i wish they made a floor or floor sections for it.
Great review, really covered everything I would want to know. Most just show off a finished project using the materials.

Thanks, I really like these sets, but haven't been doing nearly so much 40K for the past year so never finished the city.
This is a really cool set. I use some of these in several of my battle reports.
Great overview and demo of how to assemble the scenery!
U should REALY get the " Harkenkreuz" out of youre frame ^^ In the last few minutes in the bookshelf .. the black book on the right ;)
Very helpful review; answered all of the questions I had about it. Thank you!
I've got the first part of the first building I'm making from these kits now up, with a good look at making floors from plastic sheeting (which is really inexpensive if bought in more-than-you'll-ever-need quantities.
You can get it at any framing or Hobby Lobby type store. It is used to surround an image that is being framed. It is essentially thick cardboard, but doesn't fall apart as easy as thick cardboard.
great review, going out to get mine today! Nice idea for flooring.
Great review dude, very informative and well thought out. Nice one =]
Good video Mystic, great looking scenery
what type of material was used for the floor, I thought he said artist matting but I can't find it. can someone post a link or something similar to use?
Where'd you go? I really enjoyed this review. Thanks!
Review the Technobridge next!👍
Great review, cheers 😎
What would I search for to find the material being used for flooring?
Awesome!
I was looking into these myself too. I was thinking about getting both the sets you previewed for us as well as the "gothic city buildings ruin set". My question is, do you know if that set goes along with the 2 you previewed?
Great video
These are amazing.. Where can I get some?
This is some of the sturdiest, cheapest terrain you can get. 3 boxes did my entire 4x6 table.
I believe they do, but I haven't had my hands on them.
Interesting.
niceeeeeee :D
8:20 ish for scale demo
