I think of you as being the grandma that everyone wants to visit. Always a yummy treat for whomever comes for a meal.
I am on my way to get some peaches now. I can't wait to make this today. My husband is rolling his eyes due to me trying all your recipes but he surely is cleaning his plate. He as I told you usually cooks at the house. I retired from teaching and have more time to experiment. You are awesome! I love your sincere personality. You explain so well too!

I was so hoping you'd taste that, and I could tell just as it hit your mouth you got the sweetest smile on your face. I know it's been a bunch of years since you uploaded this video, but seeing you cooking and talking to us it was like it happened this afternoon. Thank you and God bless you.
Made this for the family a few weeks ago. I did just as Ms Chris said and she has never steered me wrong. I love love this channel😊
"I have high expectations" - if that's not a cook who know what she's doing. I dunno what is! So I'm down. Usually, I make cobbler and being I travel innate van full of people, I lighten it up and bring hunks of cobbler for everyone. This is going to be GREAT! Thank you for your great presentation, tips, camera work... and thanks for the onspot idea for CHRIS' PEACH DUMPLINGS! Mine includes about 4T of butter on the bottom, crust flour mixture and peaches on top, bake. The melted butter rises up into the crust, the peaches and juice go down into the crust and you scoop it out. It's from an old and I mean OLD recipe book, where many desserts are "steamed" in the oven - 1920s - found in a flea market. The juice looks outrageous! I can't wait ❣❣❣❣ God bless you ❣
You should have entered that recipe into the Pillsbury bake off competition. That could have been a Million dollar winner.

I made this and it turned out amazing. I did a few things differently. I used the buttery cresent rolls, instead of regular cinnamon I used cinnamon sugar to sprinkle in the inside of the dumpling which allowed me to cut the sugar I added to the peach juice to 1 cup (half white half brown), I added a tbsp of vanilla extract and a pinch of ginger! Gawd was it delicious! Thanks for this recipe @chriscook4you

My dear Chriscook, I don't know if the good Lord helped me stumble upon your site on this recipe after my morning prayer, but I really believe he did. I've been thinking on peach cobbler but your peach dumplings is the way for me. Not only do they look so good, but you my Dear sell the food (Treat) in question with your very convincing response to the flavor and taste! Thank you and Blessings Den N.

This look DELICIOUS!! Your cooking reminds me of my grandma's cooking. I'm from the deep south (Mississippi) and I remember having this dessert as a child. The only difference I see is, she would sprinkle "cinnamon sugar" on the top and she would use "ground ginger" & vanilla extract along with the cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Thanks for ALL you do and PLEASE keep the recipes coming.
Omg this looks so good! My husband is diabetic so I used Splenda Brown Sugar and no sugar added canned peaches!! We can't eat ice cream so I am using sugar free Cool Whip. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

alaiyo - please look at the ingredients in the sugar free cool whip. I recently bought some and it had aspartame in it. Aspartame causes brain damage along with many other diseases. if you can use stevia, that is healthy and you can whip up your own batch of whipped cream without the poison.

Chris, I made ths and it turned out great! My dad loved it so much he requested his own personal dish of dumplings, and he asked me to add chopped pecans, and it was delicious. Thanks so much for such a lovely dish!!!
When I was a girl. My grandmother taught me to make peach cobbler with dumplings. These days, what people call peach cobbler looks like peach pie because it doesn't have dumpliings. These stuffed dumplings made my heart smile.

Oh my gosh I feel you. I can't find a traditional peach cobbler recipe anywhere. They all seem to be peach pie or some form of a cake mix and it's not the cobbler I grew up on. Sadly I've had to settle until hopefully someone will share a traditional recipe. Can't wait to try this dumpling though!

You have such great voice. Very nice to watch you. I wish you best of luck.
Your video came on a recommendation in 2020, and you definitely put a different spin on one of my favorite desserts! It's good to see different cooking/baking ideas from others. My mom taught us her recipes, which are amazing! I make my peach cobbler with a bottom and top crust and put dumplings inside with the peaches and that is so delicious! But I'm gonna try yours in 2020.
Hi Miss Chris, I found your channel by accident tonight and your voice has me mesmerized. I loved watching you create this delicious peach cobbler and I love the ease in which you talk to us viewers. I'm looking forward to anything you post Miss Chris. I can't wait to try this recipe this week! Thank you for sharing your recipe... you are so kind. Love, Joanie 😘❌⭕️
My fiancé and I just picked a whole mess of peaches and I’ve never made anything with peaches before, this seems like a good recipe for someone who hasn’t baked with them before! She’s canning most of them, so I can probably make this Christmas time for an easier dessert. I bet my southern family would love them!
I have saw alot of ways to .take this but yours is the best. I'm making it next week. Thank you for posting the recipe. May you be blessed.

What I like about this video is the fact that you show everything from coming out the packages. Thank you for showing all of the details because some KZreadrs think I know how to bake from scratch and just show raw food then a pan of baked food and leave out the middle steps. Great video and I just subscribed.
Ohhhh my goodness is right. It looks amazing !!! Thank you for sharing this with us...cant wait to try!!
my mom use to make this all the time it is sooooooo delicious
I'm a new subscriber. I will be making this dish. It looks delicious. I wish I could come through the television to try it. Lol! TFS!
ThankYou, my grandma made the same awhile back and switched from crescents to bisquits. Watching people cook brings open doors for different tastes and possibilities for new oppuratuneties
I have watched this so many times; have yet to make it. Every time I get to the end and see the reaction you have, I am tickled and can't help but to laugh with you. If this video doesn't show everything of the real goodness it offers, I know once I finally make this... oooooo weeeee I will be back here to yell & scream how fabulous it actually is. I can't wait to make this for hubby. Peach cobbler is one if his faves, so I know he's gonna flip for this. I've already spoiled my mother-in-law with your Blackberry cobbler.... Lawd Lawd I definitely put my foot in that. She's now requesting a peach cobbler too.... but I think THIS right here is gonna be my next "master piece". Thank you so much.. you are turning me into a great cook for my family.
Yummy! Girl you tore that up!
women you did that,be truly bless keep up the great job:)
