Kimmel vs Damon -- "started" in 2006 when Kimmel started saying "Apologies to Matt Damon, we're out of time" at the end of his show as a random joke (Damon wasn't in on it yet) that kept getting laughs, then Damon 1st participated in it in 2007. Rudd's Conan interviews with the Mac and Me clip started in 2004.

Bill Hader has. Like he can't contain it and it just burst out naturally. With Conan I genuinely can't tell what's a fake laugh and a real laugh. He has been fake laughing for so long at his guests to make the show work I feel it's taken a toll on him. Like he lost something deep down.

Bill Hader is the cheapest laugh in showbiz, and I love him so much for that. He comes across as such a sweet, genuine guy, without an ounce of pretension.

The most underrated part of this clip is Paul Rudd mentioning Baby Geniuses and Bill Hader immediately identifying that it was directed by Bob Clark.

The absolute best part to me is that look that Paul has holding up that coffee mug with a look as proud as any father in the world.

Given Bill's anxiety, I can completely believe he panicked at the idea that a dress rehearsal clip he wouldn't want anyone to see is about to be shown, but he has done some really good dramatic work on Barry (and a few other movies), so maybe it was just an incredible acting job.

It shows you what an amazing actor Paul Rudd is because that second time he really did an intro as believable as possible

I would’ve been really disappointed if Conan ended without Paul Rudd playing that clip!!

I was scared about it not happening during the season finale but here we are. I teared up a bit

I can die happy knowing that that stupid Paul Rudd skit has gone on for damn near 20 years.

“You’re the worst guy in the World”. Oddly that’s the sweetest mention of that phrase in history.

I fell for it again! It absolutely didn't occur to me that this was coming. Holy crap. He is so good at this.

I kinda fell for the second one HARDER because he already got it out and gave a genuinely good description of "What might have been..." Then one frame into the clip I lose it laughing.

I will never get tired of all 3 of these guys. Comedy legends of today.

The first time he did this.... I was like.... "I can't believe Paul Rudd was the wheelchair kid from Mac and Me".... It was only years later when he did it again that I realized it was joke and that it wasn't him.... Lol.

Everything about this clip is so perfect. Bill setting up Paul, the build-up once he arrives, the way the audience goes berserk when the clip actually starts, Conan's little dance afterwards, capped off by Paul's smile and nod at the end as if to tell everyone "there ya go."

Andy Richter: "Whoever dies first, you have to do that at the other one's funeral."

How is it that Conan’s shows over the years always seemed like a group of friends just hanging out? Each show is like a reunion of best friends who hang out every weekend. I’ll miss Conan having a late night show, as, for me, he became the best ever.

Conan has always come across as a genuine, thoughtful person. Even when he's being funny, you can tell he has great respect for his favourite guests. Late night will not be the same without him.

I see this clip has over 2 million views now -- this is a bit deceiving as it's actually just the same 200,000 people watching it for the tenth time. It's not just one of the best moments in the Conan history, it's one of the best in talk show history.

Is anyone going to talk about how Paul is wearing a Tux, while everyone else is so casual.

Paul Rudd is a master troll, over 20 years and still going with it. Truly one for the ages.

This god-forsaken running gag is like the Rickroll of television, it’s so stupid it unironically circles back around to being absolutely legendary

The second he started talking about an alternative clip, I knew he was gonna get him again. Absolutely hilarious

I love everything about Paul Rudd. He literally is a national sweetheart and treasure.

So starts the beginning of the end. This show has help me (and for sure so many of you guys too) through so much. I will always be grateful for Conan, Andy, and so many for putting on weekly shows and legendary remotes. What was created out of a bad situation became the greatest thing to ever appear on television. While I’m sad this show is ending, I’m looking forward to Conan’s next endeavors.

Paul Rudd WINS. THIS is why Conan is the best and Paul knows how to bring it. Such a classic set up. LOVE IT! Way for it to work in so smoothly with Bill Hader.

The moment Paul Rudd’s name came up, I hoped so badly that this exact series of events would unfold 😂 and damnit.. it had me full of nostalgia, and even more full of sadness and love from growing up my entire life with Conan as my late night guy.

The setup was so big that he GOT me. I can’t believe he got me.

One last time, bill just sitting there laughing his legs off. Rudd never failed with that

We may never see a better long running joke than this. To be so convincing every time and so consistent for so long. Makes the last week feel even more special.

Love that he did it on the podcast recently, never gets old
