    AustrianCitizen yes!! I honestly had pretty much stopped watching SNL by the time he got hot on the show so it took until he came into movies and tv and appearing in these interviews for me to appreciate how awesome he is. I completely missed out!!

    @@Lady_Vengeance It's hard to keep up with him. Must have all sorts of hilarity going on. I think it's perspective. Bill clearly knows what's in front of him and builds on it then, he articulates. The voice does it for me. Deadpan is a blessing.

    It's really considered unprofessional. I agree that sometimes it's funny to watch people lose it when they aren't supposed to, but the humor is coming from the actor's plight in that moment, instead of from the material, and so the pros really make an effort to keep their shit together and let the audience do the laughing.

    I see Bill Hader, I click. He is such a phenomenal talent. And I always feel bad for him, when he speaks about his anxiety on SNL. Also, I think it's the greatest compliment you can get from Lorne Michaels, when he says you can stay on his show as long as you want.

    I only know James Mason from the 1957 Cary Grant film, North by Northwest. James Mason plays the "bad guy." That movie is fantastic, and I almost never like older films. It is well worth a viewing.

    I have been head over heels in unrequited love with Bill and his laugh for far too long. Barry is exceptional, it just works - wonderfully written, acted, and produced. He deserves all good things in life, so pleased that he's doing what he adores.

    He always talks about how with acting, for him, it’s more about the behavior and observing behaviors rather than putting on a “performance” and how that makes a portrayal so much more authentic and genuine, and I totally agree with that. You can totally tell the difference between actors that are putting on a performance and those that just slip into a character in an authentic way. The former chew up the scenery and make me aware I’m watching a show or movie and the latter is a character I can believe is a real person that I know.
