Pati A Mexican lady showed me to put a little water on your tortilla press underneath the bottom piece of plastic... Then that piece of plastic stays in place! :) Thank for this perfect recipe

That looks really good! I made your recipe for chochoyotes, but I did them in different colors, blue corn, yellow corn, and white corn dyed with cilantro juice, powdered tomato, and red chili. In a light chicken broth with vegetables and flavored with epazote and cumin. Yes we loved it!!!

Do you have an explanation as to why the tortilla separates while cooking? It was made in one piece but separates into two near perfect sections.

I normally get avocados from Mexico from my local Latin market ;)
