Cleetus came to Utah in January. He was here for the Heavy D camping deal with Whistlin Diesel and friends. He went up to see Mike while he was in town. This groundbreaking ceremony was at the end of February. I was there. Cleetus wasn't.

This man has a passion in life and he has been blessed to be able to bring it to fruition. Good Job Mr. Patey.

Needs to be more Mike Pateys in this world.

Thank you Mike and Mark for promoting GA aviation and airports. As a veteran of many, many airport fights (Reid Hillview, Fremont, Watsonville, in California and Brunswick Ohio and now looks like Burke Lakefront in Cleveland, please consider iron clad contracts to keep the airport intact, to not have developments encroach on the approaches, be wary of curfews, sound abatement schemes and lawfare to kill off GA. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PROJECT.

It looks like absolute paradise, and I want to spend the rest of my life there.

You need to find *_The BEST hamburger in the country_* , and I don't mean by a vote, you need to go there and try it yourself. Then bring that back and install that burger place in your park. AND, you need to find the best fries too. And I don't mean the fries that came with the best burger because they may not be the best. You need to couple the best fries in the country and the best burgers in the country. Then; You need to have a hot iron stamp of draco to stamp the buns with. If you do that Ill charter a flight down just to have lunch there. *_Big RC Draco looks awesome. What about big RC scrappy?_*

My wife and I do a lot of traveling, one thing I've always wished for is a VRBO type of thing for the general avaition world, where you could book a hanger home/apartment for an overnight or longer while we travel.

It would be great if there was a backcountry school/flight opportunity based at the airport for those of us that live too far and could only make the trip once a year or so.

This will be a big boost for the Spanish Fork area and might free up some hangar space! It will definitely bring upscale aviation to Utah county with added revenue but yes not for us average aviators. I love what the Mike and Mark are doing and back them 100%. They are amazingly talented and are making aviation history but I would hope in all this high end building they come up with something for the average person to afford and enjoy.

"The Patey Virus" is a good bug to catch.."virulent joy of work and progress".. imagination and hard work making dreams and innovations come to fruition, lifting spirits of others and stoking the confidence to follow and contribute.. The Patey's are a human treasure.. I gotta go "back to flying," may only be RC airplane, but STOL flying in a smaller scale (7foot wingspan Carbon Cub on tundra wheels!)
