This is a beautiful airplane! I am so sorry for the loss of your son, may God make it easy for you. The tail number is a wonderful way to honor his memory. Fly safe and enjoy your airplane to it's fullest! God bless you.

I am a pilot and an owner of a small airplane. I have the same comment as many others. I wish that my wife had the same attitude and perspective as Brenda. Instead of seeing it as the potential for adventures, she just sees it as an expensive hobby that I selfishly indulge in.

There is a special moment just before first flight where the pilot is getting themself ready for that instant they break loose from the bonds of the Earth, and in preparation for that leap into sky, they perform the symbolic “breaking the seal” of the airplane. Removing the screen cover, and the plastic on the Go Around button, represents the beginning of a life of adventure. When you are about to take your first flight, you’ll also get to experience the exhilaration that comes from leaving the past behind. Until then, I guess, you’ll just dream about it.

@@EdwardHefter I didn't realize the video was taken before the first flight. I guess that makes sense. I fly a 182RG I love the feeling of leaving my problems on the ground. Very nice airplane.

And it runs mogas instead of avgas which is both healthier and half the cost. So 3-4x cheaper than a Cirrus, both in fuel and service. But Sling, you really have to transition to factory built certified and single piece composite has to be the way. There is just no growth potential in a 300k$ plane that you have to build yourself with kit build affecting resale value as well. Cirrus had 13 kit planes completed and killed 10 people. Now they totally dominate as certified despite being absurdly overpriced. Great place to start could be a Risen copy. Very simple construction and blows everything away. Certified with a parachute, it could really make a dent in aviation. And no 300k nonsense or worse. Think 100k, Rotax greed aside.

I would love to have an airplane equipped as well as this one for $100k, but since the avionics is more than half of that, the engine is more than half of that, and the paint is not free, Sling would need to write checks while giving away the plane. Don't expect a $100k TSi anytime in the near future. As far as certified, that probably won't happen soon, either. But, ready built airplanes without requiring a build? Mosaic will certainly help with that!

@@EdwardHefter Well Carbon Design Vampire 2 is composite and fully assembled for 83700€ including a 912. A G3x for LSAs costs around 3k$ and even overpriced certified is 10k. And I said Rotax greed aside.
